My Promise For You

Even though we're miles apart

It seems our love keeps us together

Your the one who holds my heart

I'll love you forever and ever

I'm sorry for all we went through

I know it was mostly me

Cause when it got hard, I withdrew

But now I will make you see,

That it's something,again that, I won't do

Cause that was the worst mistake

But honestly babe, I love you

And I swear, that love will never be fake

I'm so sorry that I always act this way

But every time I talk to you, all I feel is guilt

Because I almost took your life away

So depression wraps around me like a quilt

But now I can see that you want to be the same as before

So I'll try my hardest and bestest to make it right

That way we, and our love will be restored

We're in the dark now but we will soon be in light

This rhyming poem is cheesy I know

But it was the only way I could think of telling you it

And I'm truly sorry that I'm slow

But I promise you this, we will be the same, bit by bit<3
