--

Ginger knew she heard voices in that room.

It was a raspy, worn voice, and an ambiguous voice.
Ginger ran back from the door, through the hallway, and grabbed the crowbar, smeared with blood.

She started to shake with fear. Why was she so scared? Isn't she going to save someone she loves?
All her emotions were over the place, and she couldn't stand it.

Ginger ran back to the door, and placed her ear again. It was quiet, deadly quiet.

Then-

BAM!!

The door slammed open so hard, it made Ginger slide to the wall across. There, was a man she'd hope to never see again.
His eyes were pure white, like newly sheets of paper.
The mans hair was black with streaks of purple. She never seen it, but his skin was a pure purple color, like a wallpaper imprinted on him.

He chuckled, "Looks like we got ourselves a rat trying to hear in!"
Ginger was cursed with fear, her own heartbeat started to go faster. Her body started to tremble as she clutched the crowbar.

The man smiled wickedly and said, "Ginger ginger, if only I killed you when I got the chance, then you wouldn't have been in this situation.."

Due to her trembling, Ginger struggled but stood up with crowbar on hand.
"You..those e-eyes, I remembered those eyes! You killed MY FRIENDS!!"

She was so overloaded with anger, that she didn't even notice what she was doing. Ginger swung the crowbar towards the man, but he dodged it with ease.

As planned, Ginger quickly went into the office and slammed the door shut, while securing the bolts.
The pounding of the mans fist rang throughout the door.
"Oh Ginger your in big trouble! You just made me very angry!"yelled the man as he kept on pounding the door.

Ginger may be dumb, but her main goal was to reach towards Marla, and somehow it worked like a charm.

"I'm taking Marla with me, Purple Guy.!"yelled Ginger back.
There was a hesitation, but then a simple laugh,

"I'll come back for you..."

...

Then silence.

Gingers trembling stopped as soon as she saw Marla.

Marla's head was down, but noticeably unconscious or sleeping. Her head seemed perfectly fine, but her forehead was covered in small blood.
Took a minute, but Ginger could finally tell that her friends skin color was a beautiful lilac purple, which didnt seem to bother her.

Ginger quickly untied her hands, feet, and propped her comfortably on the chair.
She tapped her cheek, "Maarrllaaa? Hellllooo?"

There was no response, which made Ginger worried, then Marla made a slow head movement, and a yawning noise.

Then-

She opened her eyes quickly and snatched Gingers throat.
Ginger gasped as Marla's fingers pried her throat, clasping the air. Marla's eyes were exactly the same as Purple Guys, they were white like paint.

"M..Arla?"cried out Ginger as she struggled to stand, with the air being almost out. What was going on with her friend??

Marla kept the same dull expression on, except with her wicked smile plastered on her face.
"I can't stop Ginger. The children. Our friends. Their nothing more then mere spirits, who are restless, tired, and more importantly angry..p-please STOP!!"
