I run around to Peeta's house, I already slept in too late.
I knock on the door three times. Peeta opens the door. "Hi Prim!"
He lets me in and the sits me down at the dining table. "Um, so a you know it's my Victory your today do I won't be here for two weeks. And then when the Hunger Games starts I'll be a mentor."
Oh my god, I didn't even think that he would be a mentor, that's like over a month without Peeta.
"So, you can stay at my house if you need to. Don't be scarred to come by. And I'll leave you some bread and coins so don't worry."
"I forgot you were a mentor," I say
"I just hope that the quarter quell isn't too crazy and I hope that you are alright."
"Don't worry about me Prim." He says with a smile. He makes me breakfast and we chat for a while.
"Why doesn't your family ever come over?"
"I don't know, sometimes they visit and I asked them to move in but I'm not sure. Good question. I mean you'd think that they'd be proud that I won and made it home but no."
"Oh, sorry." I say awkwardly
"No no that's alright. So anyway I have to go soon. And remember you can stay here if anything goes wrong alright?"
I nod and we leave. He walks me over to my house.
The dusty road clouds up with dust as we walk.
We walk in and he sets down two thick blankets and three loaves of bread. "Thank you Peeta."
"Your welcome."
He hugs me then sets down a small bag if coins. As he leaves, he winks at me. Peeta is a really good person.
Mum comes in and looks at at the things he brought us. "That was nice if him, seeing as Winter is fast approaching."
