The sucky thing about being a new girl is that you don't know anyone or anything about where you are or who your with, but lucky me, I got help along the way. When me and my family came to England I was so disappointed. I lost my friends and home to go to this new school. So what if it is an amazing school, I want it go home. My mom told me that I shouldn't worry, and I was going to make just as much friends as I did in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, where I am from.
When we got to the train station, my mother told me to go through the wall between station 9 & 10. I thought she was going crazy, but the next thing I knew, I was at 9 3/4. Even though I had magic, I thought that was pretty crazy.
I found myself looking for and empty seat when I passed this really cute guy with brown hair and a crooked smile and we stared at each other and blushed for a long time till I realized he had an empty seat next to him. " Can I sit next to you?" I said still blushing. He just kept staring until his friend poked him with a quill, " Yes, p-please do," he said stuttering.
I sat down and putting my bag away and suddenly this very tall guy with dark hair stood up, "I'm Remus Lupin, it's a pleasure to meet you," he said delightfully. Then the guy that poked the cutie sitting next to me was tall with crazy dark hair abruptly stood up and said," My name is Sirius Black and I can't believe your American, I've never met your kind before, and this is James," he said pointing to the guy I like, " he doesn't talk very much." The man sitting across from me was staring out the window not saying a word. Sirius told me his name was Peter Pettigrew and he was less talkative than James.
Later along the train the ride, me and James got to talking and we both are alike in so many ways. Sirius and Remus couldn't stop bugging us and eventually I told them to shut up and they agreed I was sassy. "I didn't get your name," said James. " My name is Layla Williams" as I say sitting up. " I like that name," says James blushing!
