Liz came back and it seemed like something was wrong. She sat down.
"Liz are you ok?" Dustin asked
She looked at him and gave him a fake smile,"Yeah Im good."
I knew something was wrong.A few minutes later the bell rang,We were off to our next class . I was going to Language Arts with Liz ,Dustin,and El.
We got into class Dustin and Liz sat together while El and I sat together. We were doing silent reading. I noticed Liz was still sad . I looked over and she had been staring at Max for 30 minutes. I tried to get Dustin's attention.

After Language Arts I had study hall. I sat in my seat thinking about El and Liz.I thought about what could of been upsetting Liz.Was it Max? Does Liz know something that I don't?

It was finally time to go home. I walked out and met the boys outside by our bikes. El was standing by Liz. Liz still was sad. I watched El look at her and give her a hug .

El came over to me .She got on the back of my bike . The thing that I missed was that Troy walking towards Liz. He grabbed her wrist and dragged her behind the school.That was when I was talking with Lucas.We all headed home. Lucas had a family dinner so he couldn't come over ,but Dustin did. Dustin,El ,and I got to my house and went to the basement. El went and sat in the tent,While Dustin and I talked.
"Dustin did you notice Liz seemed upset?" I asked
He looked down,"Yeah it made me really sad.She wasn't herself."
"AWEEEE DUSTIN'S GOT A CRUSH..." I screamed
"You say anything to anyone you'll be in deep shit."He said

We talked for 2 hours . Then Dustin had to leave. I was sitting with El until i heard," Michael Wheeler!"
"Coming mom."I yelled to her
I went upstairs to find Hopper with my mom.
"Hi Hopper."
Hopper gave me a small smirk.

"I need to know the last time you talked,saw,or heard from Will Byers. "Hopper said

"I haven't talked to Will for 2 months.I saw him yesterday at school."I told Hopper

"Well Will has disappeared again. "said
Hopper quickly

"Also we need to know what happened to that new girl . A woman brought her to the station,she won't talk. She is all beat up."

I grabbed my green bomber jacket and got into the sheriff car with El in the back.
We got to the station. I saw Liz sitting there crying. I ran over and hugged her. She looked up ,"Liz will you please tell me what happened today."

"Can we talk in private only me,you and ,El?" she whispered

I led her into a empty room." What happened Liz?"
She looked down. "It's Max and Troy."

"What did they do?"

"They want Eleven.There is a large group of them. "Said Max

"What do you mean a group?What did they do to you?"I asked

"It is Troy,Max,Dr.Owens,and other people who work at the lab.They threatened they would exposes me."

"What would they expose?"

All of a sudden El stood up and said ,"Liz past."

"She is right .There is a reason I know the stuff I do. My best friend was taken by the demogorgon. She has been in the upside down for almost a year. "

"I never knew, Liz ."I whispered

"That's why Im doing everything to help El . "
