She's magnificent. Green eyes, dark brown hair, and the perfect lips. She's fit but curvy. Alexia. She's perfect. She's.....straight. My dream girl is straight. And I'm gay. I'm gayer than a double rainbow. We have almost every class together and I just stare at her all day.
"Do you want to hang out this weekend?" She says to me.
"Umm...sure...what time?"
She laughs, she's so kind, "I was thinking you could come over after school today and we'll spend the whole weekend together."
I think for a minute, oh my god how will I last that long!
"Sure! Uh do you need my number? Or my moms? I feel like you would have to ask."
"Oh! Give me your moms number and I'll ask her at lunch."
"Okay." I smile. But not in a good way, I know I'm being awkward.
I give her my moms number and she walks away. I just realized I gave her my number. But I think I gave her my moms. Did I? Aaahhhhh. I go to my locker and it's ten minutes before lunch. Do I go visit my teachers? Do I go talk to my friends? I just decide to go to the courtyard in the middle of the school, we have an L-shaped school. I step on my bench and climb up the giant oak tree in the center of the court yard. I lie down on the net of branches and look at the sky and just blank out. I must've zoned out for a while because my two best friends come up with three burritos and smoothies. I'm shocked but I just start eating. Their names are Rachel and Pretzee. Rachel is tall and skinny and Pretzee is short and really fit. Rachel sets down her burrito and asks, "So do you guys want to have a pizza night tonight? And then we can go shopping tomorrow?" My phone buzzes and it's my mom saying you and Alexia can hang out. Just have her mom bring you by the house. I smile a bit and tell the girls I can't hang out. Pretzee frowns and says, "Well, I guess it's just you and me Rachel."
"Okay! You guys wanna go walk around the yard?"
"Sure!" I say. I'm the first to climb out of the tree and then I throw our stuff away. Alexia texts me go to the dark corner I then tell Rachel I'll be back. I walk to the dark corner of the court yard and Alexia is standing there. She walks up and asks, "So me and you will get picked up by my mom and we'll go by your house to get your stuff. We'll then go to the store for snacks and go to my house. Sound good?"
"Yeah. Two hours until then! Just meet me at my locker, it's in the east building." I oddly wink at her when I say the two hours and I hate myself. She nods.
"Gotcha!" She smiles, so beautiful. The lunch bell rings and I go to my English class. I spend the last hours staring off into space. The last bell of the day rings. I sort of panic when my teacher calls me to her desk. She tells me I did a great job with the literature vocabulary. Omg let me leave. She says have a good weekend and I walk out really fast. I walk really fast to my locker which is in the other building. I check my phone and it's Alexia I'm at your locker, where'd you go? I respond, my dumb teacher, I'm coming I now speed up more to get there. I finally get into the hall where my locker is and luckily there's not a lot of kids left. It's just Alexia leaning against the locker next to mine as the hallway gets more empty. I go up to my locker. I don't even open it all the way because I think she'll see my notes with Rachel about her. I grab my bag and leave my binder and notebooks in my locker. I grab my book and my journal and phone charger throw them all in my bag and suddenly Alexia says, "Are you sure you don't need your Chapstick?"
"Oh, um. I guess I'll grab it." Who says that? Who asks about Chapstick? does she think I don't have any extra? Oh my god help me!

We go between the buildings where the pickup area is, her mom is right there. We hop in the back seat and Alexia's mom says "Hi, Kamryn! How are you?"
"I'm pretty good." I don't want to tell her about my nerves.
"Well, that's good, what's your address?"
"Oh it's 1064 Greenview."
"Oh that's funny! It's just three blocks from your school!" She's so enthusiastic. It's making me even more awkward. If that's even possible. We pull up to the house and I run up the sidewalk. I open the door and my mom isn't home. She must be at work. My bag is outside of my bedroom with a note and a pack of gum on top that says I know she's your crush. I feel myself blush and I go to the bathroom to rinse down my face. This is embarrassing. I grab my bag and run down the staircase. I grab my wallet out of the mud room and I run out of the door. I lock it and then go to the car. I hop in and Alexia puts the bags in the left seat and sits in the middle. What is she doing? We then drive to the store and buy three frozen pizzas, toaster strudels, cookie dough, soda, pop tarts, chips, and so on. We check out the food and go to car. We then drive out of town and it turns out that their house is in the middle of nowhere. Great. I'm gonna be in the middle of nowhere with my straight crush. What is wrong with me?

We pull into their long driveway to this huge two story house. It's beautiful. My dream girl lives in my dream house. What a coincidence. We go in and it's so new looking. She grabs my hand and we go down to the basement. She asks, "Do you like it? This is my area. No one else comes down here, not even my mom."
"Sure. It's aesthetically pleasing."
"Yeah, that's the point." I smile and giggle a bit.
"Let's go order some pizza." She starts back up the stairs and asks her mom if we can order some pizza and she calls. We get a meat lovers and wait thirty minutes. After we eat the pizza we go downstairs to watch Stranger Things. I fall asleep a few minutes after she does. I wake up at 7am and Alexia is still asleep. I go outside on her porch and the sunrise is beautiful. I can't wait for today...
