Emily's POV
I shut the door behind me, noticing only one thing: silence.
The passage was dark, except for the one stray of light coming from the living room. Something was wrong, I could feel it.
I walked towards the kitchen, grabbing a knife before walking slowly towards the living room. My hand held onto the doorknob, slowly pushing it open to reveal the view.
Was there any danger in there?
Nope.
Everyone sat on the couches, except for Tom who as always was by the balcony, cigar in mouth, and Logan, who was pacing the room. The rest of the gang sat silently on the sofas, no one uttering a word.
"What the hell is going on here?" I blurted, breaking the train of silence. Everyone's eyes suddenly fell on me.
"Where the hell have you been?" Logan spat, striding towards me angrily.
"I think the more important question is: why the fuck are you carrying a knife?" Tom said from the other side of the room.
"It was completely silent and dark, I thought something was wrong" I commented briefly, putting the knife down on the table. Logan was right in my face when I turned around, causing a small gasp to escape my lips
"Where the fuck have you been?" he interrogated once again, very slowly, very sharply.
"I was out, I needed to talk to my brother" I lied, skimming past him towards the center of the room.
"Don't lie to me Emily, I know what you've been up to" he responded looking me right in the eye.
My eyes fell down on Jack and Larissa, noticing their eyes avoiding mine. Looking at Adam and Jordana, I realised that they too were avoiding my gaze. I looked towards Tom for help to see if he was lying, but judging by the smirk on his face, I knew he wasn't, Logan knew.
"Don't try and avoid this Emily" Logan interrupted, my eyes meeting his angry ones once again "I told you not to, I told you how dangerous it would be but you still went behind my back and joined the bounty? How could you?! Do you not understand how dangerous-"
"Oh please! Cut it Logan! I know exactly how dangerous this all is! Our lives have been dangerous the very day we went on the run Logan! Every minute since then has been dangerous for us, so don't give me that crap!" I exclaimed angrily.
For the next minute none of us spoke, Logan and I just glared at each other.
"Everyone leave us alone" he said in a low voice, a certain venom laced in his tone.
One by one, everyone got up, leaving the room. Tom being the last one to leave made sure to shut the door behind him after throwing me one last smirk. Jerk.
No one spoke, we just stared at each other.
Logan's eyes disconnected from mine, he walked from his position towards where Tom previously stood by the balcony.
"Why did you do it?" he questioned, his eyes focusing on the sight ahead of him out the doors.
"You already know why Logan. I want them gone"
"Why did you hide it from me?" he asked, turning around to meet me.
"Why did you hide Louisa from me?" I retorted, folding my arms on my chest. He chuckled, his rubbed his eyes with his hand gently, taking a deep breath before walking towards the door.
