|Robin's POV|
My whole body still felt cold and freezing but it wasn't unbearable like last time. I felt the smallest trace of warmth and even though it didn't do much it helped out just a bit.
My green eyes had fluttered open to the bright lights, oddly enough they didn't blind me like they usually would. That's... odd. Strangely enough I didn't question it any further, it was as if it happened to me everyday.
Sitting up from the medical bed three warm fluffy blankets slid off from my shoulders landing right on my lap. My arms felt sore and weak yet they didn't waver or shake. Ok this is just getting stranger, what the Hell is going on?
My legs swung out of the warm blankets and hit the cold tile for, oddly I didn't as bothered by the coldness. Normally I would have jumped back on the bed and have to jump back and forth just to get my feet comfortable with the coldness but right now, as my bare feet touch the cold floor, I didn't feel anything. It didn't feel numb and it didn't feel cold, strangely it felt a tad bit warm.
Shaking my head I decided that food would make everything better, well it wouldn't explain the few strange things going on with me but food always makes everything better... sometimes.
Walking out of the room I distinctly knew this certain hallway, remembering it from the last time I woke up in that same lab/medical. I took and left turn, a few steps later and bam! I'm in the kitchen, probably the best place humans ever made, that and bathrooms.
I decided to eat a fruit salad. Grabbing the bowl and washing the fruits I want to use I poured it all into the bowl before finding myself a fork and starting to eat the fruit salad.
While eating my wrists felt like they were burning, a cold burning feeling. Even if my whole body still felt cold my wrists were so cold that they burned. At first I tried to ignore it but it's kinda hard to ignore a cold burning sensation.
Not taking the feeling anymore I pushed away the bowl wanting to inspect what is making both my wrists burn.
A symbol were imbedded on both wrists. It looked like an H but the the line in the middle was lopsided:
but I knew it was far from being a lopsided H. I knew, from reading many books, that the symbol on my wrists was a Norse Rune. Sadly the library I worked at never had the meaning behind the different Norse Runes and I would always forget to search it up so I have absolutely no idea what the symbol stand for.
The symbol seemed to glow the faintest blue color. It burned so much that a whimpered escaped my lips in pain. But as that whimper escaped Loki walked into the room and the cold burning pain left.
"Robin," he asked the slightest bit with concern. "Are you alright?" I guess he heard me whimper.
"I'm fine Loki," although from the face he just gave me I knew that I was lying.
