She looked at me as tears fell before answering

That was a year ago.
It's been a year since I left Brandon on one knee. Most will say it was fucked up but if you knew my reason you would have agreed with what I did.
This past year I've been staying in Miami. I'm actually planning on moving soon. I also graduated school and been on top of my A game. I invested in stocks and shit and I've done hella club appearances, Music videos and photo shoots. So in the money department I'm as good as it gets. I've been saving since I was 16 so I know for sure I don't need Brandon or any man at that to provide for me and mines.
Also I started dating someone about 4 months ago. Princeton! Remember him? I didn't like him like that I mean he was attractive but my main focus was Bibby at the time. Over the months with me going through all the shit I was going through Princeton was right there. He was my go to guy. I know I had the gang but at the end of the day we all know where their loyalty stands.
Don't get me wrong I love them but I chose to distance myself from them.
Well I TRIED to distance myself but Mally Squeak and Shawn weren't having it.
That same night I flew back and the next morning they were at my door trying to break that bitch down.
"Aye KD where's my chain at?" Shawn asked coming in my room
"You left it on top of the Chimney "
"Good lookin" He said walking out
Yeah he decided to move in too.
I walked down the stairs to see Mally and Squeak and the kids all knocked out on the floor.
"All these people do is sleep" I said to Shawn
"Well Mally be off the shit but I don't know why Squeak does"
"Shit I don't either"
"Have you talked to Bibby"
"In the past week no. I ignored his calls so he calls Mally to speak to the boys"
One thing I can say is he has been a better father. He hasn't missed anything that has to do with them.
"You guys need to sit down and talk"
"I know but I feel like we can't be civil anymore"
