I woke up with a banging headache. My back was sore asl. I seen that Kayden was wrapped up in my arms as we laid in the same spot from last night.
My mind was running all over the place.
I looked to see her sleep peacefully on my chest.
I honestly don't know what I did to be blessed with her. I've been nothing but an asshole to her and my kids yet she still here when i need her.
Ever since I got out the hospital I haven't been myself i turned to drugs heavy which is why I stayed away from everyone.
I hated that they took control of me but shit I couldn't help it. Now i knew how them niggas back on 79th felt when they would come to me for their fix
I gently got up from my spot carrying KD to the bed. I noticed her hand had a rag covered in blood wrapped around it.
The fuck this shit come from cause I know I ain't cut her.
I gently unwrapped it seeing the cut. She stirred in her sleep opening her eyes looking at me. She gave me a smile before speaking
"Morning how you feeling?" She asked as she got up
"I'm good but what the hell happen to your hand?"
She looked down at it seeing the blood
"Did I do it?" I asked
"Nah it wasn't you it was Ciara" She said walking into the bathroom
The fuck I could have sworn we killed that bitch
"Didn't we kill her?"
"Apparently she had a twin so we killed the twin not her" She said getting ready to brush her teeth
"So what happened?"
"We fought I stabbed her then Herb showed up and Mally gave me his gun so I shot her" She shrugged and began brushing her teeth
This girl gets crazier by the day.
Like she's a totally different Kayden than when I first met her.
I brushed my teeth as well
Once we were done we went to change
"Mama Shai cooking breakfast for everyone today at her house" She said as she got dressed in the free crack sweats and hoodie I gave her.
I decided on wearing mine as well.
"Shit I don't think they want to see my right now" I sighed
"Just tell them what's up. They love yo ass regardless so I'm sure they'll understand"
We finished getting ready before walking out the room heading down the stairs
