Why do bad things alway happen to me?
Okay, so before I go on a rant about everything that happened last night, which will probably end up getting me killed in the very near future, let's recap. It all began a few weeks ago, when the staring started. Now let me make it clear there was already staring before, but here is when it got intense. This all happened around the time I was in a relationship with my month long boyfriend, Silas.
Silas was a great guy, and hot too. Dark hair, sunkissed skin, bright green eyes, and he was sweet, funny and extremely smart, he seemed perfect, well at first. Now you might say, you only dated the guy for month how bad could he be? But, after a while though, he just got kinda mean, he was rude to my friends and I, and just wasn't the same guy I had met a few weeks before. I mean the relationship as a whole just wasn't going anywhere, even to the point where we barely even talked. Do I miss him? Yeah sometimes and I kinda regret breaking up with him too, but I know the same thing is just gonna happen again. But this story isn't about him. It's about Stephan Baratelli.
Stephan Baratelli was a well known name in my school. He was considered one of the hottest if not, the hottest guy in school. I gotta admit he was pretty cute, Dark hair, grey/blue eyes and a smile that could make any girl melt, but he was the typical jock, Varsity football, and Basketball. But, unfortunately most jocks where I go to school are just straight up assholes, so I'd rather not get myself involved, not that I had a chance anyways. I mean I was decent, but not typically the type of girl he would go for.
I first noticed how much Stephan would stare at me at one of his basketball games, this was when Silas and I were still together. We were sitting on the bleachers with a couple of friends, watching the game and for some reason Silas was always tired so he was practically falling asleep with his arm around me.
"If you're tired I'll leave you alone for a bit so you can get some rest on your own, I feel bad keeping you up." I said thoughtfully.
"No you're fine, stay right here I won't fall asleep." He mumbled back.
"Are you sure? You look really tired, I don't mind I'll just sit with Alicia."
"No I'm good, stay." he said
I ignored what he said because I could tell he was tired. I began to slowly scoot down the bleachers over to my friend Alicia but before I could stand up, I felt two firm arms wrap around my waist and whisk me right back to Silas, I turned around to see his grinning face looking down at me. I giggled at the feeling of his arms still wrapped tightly around my waist. He then slowly released his grip and moved his arm back around my shoulder. I glanced over at the court to notice Stephan staring at us, almost forgetting to keep running to the other side of the court. What's his deal?
I know it might seem a little far fetched, and why would he be staring at a girl like me I was just average. Dark brown hair and eyes and tan skin, short too '5"2. Not very interesting I know, maybe it's all in my head, but it felt real. Even when I wasn't looking I could still feel his eyes piercing into my back. After a while I managed to ignore it until the game was over, but I knew what I saw.
Two days later
My friend Kayla and I were waiting in the lunch line.
"Oh my god he's so hot" she whispered
"Who?" I hadn't realized who she was talking about.
She didn't answer me so I ended up following her eyes, and with no surprise I trailed them all the way to Mr. Stephan Baratelli.
"He's not that hot.." I whispered back, keeping a sly smirk on my face.
She ignored my remark and continued on staring at Stephan while he raided the salad bar.
