Here is a small tidbit of my Newt Scamander fanfic! Yay!

Blue and Silver
Newt Scamander comes to New York with a case and a mission to get to Arizona. However, along the way, some complications occur and he bumps into a very unusual girl from his past....
"What the hell do you think you are doing?" The girl had dragged him to an empty alleyway. Well, she had Apparated them.
So she's a witch, Newt thought. She seemed to have an American accent, but there was something off about it.
"Hello?!" she said. He looked up.
"I-I wasn't doing anything wrong," he said quickly. That was partly truthful. She looked around to make sure no one was watching.
"You Obliviated the mug-I mean No-Mag right?" she stuttered. Newt found that interesting. But what on earth was a No-Mag?
"No-Mag?"
"No magic? The non-wizard!" she said frustrated.
"Oh sorry. We call them muggles," he replied. Her face softened a bit.
"Muggle," she said as if making sure the word stayed with her. He made an attempt to get away, but she grabbed his arm. "Cooperate with me, and I won't hurt you." He looked at her, half frightened half determined to be set free. She let go. "Promise." She reached out her hand. He hesitantly took it, and they Disapperated.
Soon, they were in front of a bustling building on Broadway. Newt had heard of all the busy city skyscrapers but had never actually seen one. It was a little overwhelming. The girl started walking briskly towards the front door. He quickly followed her, not wanting to get lost in the ocean of people. She intrigued him
