Part 1

Walking to my bus stop in the freezing cold is not the way to start the day off good. It's my first day at my new school, I didn't just move here I've lived here my whole but I switched schools in year six to a school across the bay. So, every morning I walked down to the ferry, ride over the water for a half- hour get off the ferry at eight thirty then catch a ten minute city bus to my school. I guess this four minute walk from my house to the end of the road is better. just cause i took my water bottle out of my bag to take a drink i hear someone come up to me so I turn. To see the most attractive guy I've ever seen, I smile and nod my head as a greeting. I look away right after I realized what I why would I nod my head who does that?. I hear a low chuckle so I turn my head to look at him to see he's already staring down at me, smiling. Weird. I fur my eyebrows in confusion as he says "Good Morning, sweetheart." And he just ruined any chance he had. I snort loudly but even trying to hide my annoyance. He must not have noticed that was a hint that I wasn't interested because he has the nerve to step into my bubble and touch my shoulder. Just as he touches me I step a huge way apart from him. He coughs and says " I'm Avery by the way." Then it hits me he's the little boy i used to be friends with in elementary, we used to be best friends. "I know" I say making sure to say it bitchy enough to make him stop talking to me. But he must be really dumb or just enjoys annoying people. "Your supposed to tell me your name." He reply's but I shot back "Supposed to?" As i take a drink of my water and stay staring up the hill praying the bus will come right now. "If you wanted to be nice, then yes" he says, I sigh and say "If you wanted to be nice, you would remember that we were best friends for six years, before I moved schools." Thank god, the bus is driving down the hill as i finish my sentence. The bus stops in front of us as he says "Liliana?" I roll my eyes as i walk to the bus and take the steps and smile saying a quick "Good morning" to the bus driver. I sit in the first sit not wanting to walk way to the back. I sit on the outside so he doesn't try to sit with me. He stops looks down and me, sighs and walks when i didn't bother looking at him or moving over. I don't bother taking out my headphones since my friend gets on at the next stop.

When the bus stops at school Emily and I get up and walk off the bus first. Hearing the bell ring I look at her and ask "Do you know what we're supposed to do?" She smiles and nods "Yea, we're supposed to go to the gym where ever that is for all the year tens to find your homeroom teacher" I reply "God, I hope we're in the same oneeeeee" I draw out. "Liliana!" we hear a guy yell and turn to see Avery running up to us. Yay, he just doesn't give up. I glare up at him and say "What?" but that yearns me a elbow to the ribs from Emily. "Don't be rude" she harshly whispers to me. "What do you mean 'What' we were best friends and you left and never said anything to me about it where did you go?" This causes me to roll my eyes once again it must be something about him. Oh yea, he's just that annoying. "Whatever" i say and take Emily's hand and drag her away from him and inside the school.
