Why Did it Come to This? [Kuroko Tetsuya X Reader]

It had been exactly one month since the "congratulations party" took place at Akashi's mansion. You hadn't gotten your period yet which should've started by now. Also, you were experiencing nausea in the morning every day, random mood swings, and weird food cravings. Fearing the worst, you went to the store and bought a couple pregnancy tests then went home to use them. They all tested positive. You were somewhat shocked and scared. You ran to get your cell phone and dialed Kuroko's number as quickly as you could. He picked up after a few rings.

"Tetsuya, I have something to tell you." You said, your voice quivering.

"What is it (f/n)?" Your boyfriend asked, sounding worried.

"I'm pregnant." You told him. There was a long pause before he spoke again.

"Are you free today?" He asked you randomly.

"Umm yeah I am." You answered, puzzled.

"Great, then meet me at the park at 4:30 PM sharp. Wear something really nice too." He responded.

"Okay..." You answered back. After you hung up, you went to your room, shut and locked the door. You slid down the door and started to cry.

'No, this can't be happening! I'm only seventeen years old, I'm not ready to be a mother. Why did it come to this?' You thought to yourself as the tears rolled down your face.

~Time Skip: 4:30 PM~

You arrived at the park gate and waited for Kuroko. One minute passed, it was 4:31 PM.

"Didn't he say 4:30 PM sharp?" You muttered to yourself. Just then, you heard Kuroko calling your name.

"(f/n)! Sorry I'm a little late." Kuroko said, running towards you. When he reached you, he hugged you immediately and looked at you smiling. He was all dressed up like he was going to a school dance or fancy date.

"You look beautiful in that floral dress (f/n)." Kuroko said as you smiled shyly. But your smile was soon replaced by a puzzled look.

"Thank you Tetsuya. Bu why did you want to meet me here all dressed up?" You asked, puzzled. He stepped back and knelt on his right knee and took out a pretty sparkly sky blue-colored box. You covered your mouth with both hands, gasping as tears started to well up in your eyes. He opened the box revealing a beautiful silver ring with one large light blue diamond between with two smaller white diamonds on either side.

"(l/n) (f/n), will you marry me?" Kuroko asked. You were so happy, it took you a moment to gather yourself up to answer him.

"Yes Tetsuya, of course I will!" You said with a feeling of overwhelming happiness. Kuroko stood up and gently slid the ring on your left ring finger which fit you perfectly. He looked at you and smiled before kissing you on the lips as you wrapped your arms around his neck. You were so happy, but wondered why so soon.

"Tetsuya, why did you ask me to marry you when we're both only seventeen?" You asked your new fiancé.

"I want to take responsibility for the child you're carrying. Even if the child turns out not to be mine, I want to raise it with you. Believe me, I'm also shocked to be a father already. As for me running late to meet you today, I was having trouble picking out the perfect ring." He said then kissed you again.

"Oh, Tetsuya. That's so sweet of you." You said, starting to cry out of happiness. Kuroko wiped the tears away from your eyes.

"I didn't want you to have to raise the child by yourself. Also, I'm really good with kids." He said, smiling. You remembered how he acted around your little sister. She's even told Kuroko that he's just like her daddy. Neither of you ever expected to be parents this young.
