Chapter 2:

"Zoe why do you need my help you're a big girl!" I said teasing. "How do you know Dan?" She asked. I looked at Louise. She was looking at me grinning like an idiot, so was Zoe. "Oh my god you guys, I don't know him we were just chatting. I feel like I kinda recognized him though." I said honestly. "OH MY GOD, YOU TOTALLY LIKE HIM!!" Zoe shouted. "What?! No- no I don't." I said covering her mouth. She pointed at my hand over her mouth, then pointed at my face. I guess I was blushing. "Look I think he is cute, I think he was in some of my classes in Uni, but I don't know, he seems familiar." I said feeling my face get even more red. Zoe pulled out her phone and began typing. "Zoe what are you doing? You're n-not telling him are you?" I ask half wanting her to and half not. She turned her phone to where I could see it. It was a picture if Dan when he was in uni. It was defiantly Dan. I knew him. But he dropped out, and eventually so did I. I've been making money with my YouTube channel that has around 5,000 subscribers, other than that I have nothing to fall back on. I shook my head is disbelief. I went to Dan when I was in uni. I just went to the first door I saw open. He was there. "Oh my god, I-I'll be right back." I said to Louise and Zoe. I quickly left the room and scanned the house for Dan. He was no where. I put my back against the wall and slumped down. I looked up and spotted Dan about to leave. I jumped to my feet. "Dan!" I shouted. He looked around. He didn't see me and opened the door to leave with his friend. I pushed through the people and opened the door behind him. "Dan!" I said. He snapped his head around. "Oh Y/n!" He said. "Can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked. "Alone?" He looked at his friend. His friend nodded. Dan followed me around the corner. "Dan, I know you probably don't remember me, bu-" "How could I forget you, you are beautiful, kind, and had a lot on your plate then. In fact I'm glad you came to me everyone said such rude things about you, but that day I knew they weren't true. You were popular, and nice." He said. "Not after you left, everyone pushed me aside, bullied me called me lonely girl, wrote on my locker, I had to drop out I hated being the laughing stock of Manchester University." I said. Dan's face looked sad. He pulled me on for a hug and I gladly accepted. "Can I get your number, I might still need to vent or cry." I said handing him my phone. "Sure." He said punching in his number. He handed it back to me and also his phone. I put my number in his and gave him one last hug before going back in.

*15 minutes later*

The party was starting to drag. I'm not really a party person anyway. So there I was Forcing laughter and faking smiles in this tired and lonely place. *ding* it was Dan.

D: You still at the party?

Y: Yeah nothing intresting happening. 😂😒

D: Yeah, that's how most parties are. I just wanted to say it was great seeing you again and that I'm sorry about your boyfriend, Cash was it?

Y: Yeah that's him. I'm trying to get over it best I can. I'm sure my brother, Troye, would want me to be happy.

D: Well I want you to be happy too, and next time you talk to Troye tell him I said hey, we have met a few times.

Y: Will do.

(3rd person pov)

Dan stared at the message he was about to send. Should I send it? He thought. Without thinking anymore he pressed send and immediately regretted it.

D: When can I see you again?

Y: ...Um whenever I can should be fine.. I'll let you know.

D: Really? Okay. Have fun at the party

Y: Haha yeah right, I'm leaving.

D: Okay see you later.

Y: Bye.

D: Bye.

I put my phone down and scanned the room for Louise and Zoe. They are probably still in Zoe's room gossiping. I got there quickly because I knew every way to Zoe's room. I knock on the door. "Come in!" I hear them both say. I walk in and shut the door behind me. I sit on the bed with a goffy grin plastered on my face. "What is it?" Louise asks scooting closer. I showed her my phone and she showed Zoe. "I don't know of he just asked me out or what I'm ehhh!" I squealed. They squealed along. "Give me your phone!" Louise said taking it. "Hey!" I said giggling. She wouldn't let me look.

Dan's Pov

*ding* I looked at my phone.

Y: How about saturday at 10:30 am?

D: Sounds great, I can't wait

Y: Haha that ryhmed. 😂

D: Oh shut up

Y: Pick me up at Louise's we go out to eat or something.

D: Fine by me see you then.

"LOUISE!" I shouted happily. "What?" She giggled. I took my phone back. "This is all good and stuff, but I have no clue what to wear! Do I dress casual or fancy?" I asked. "Wear something in the middle." Zoe said. "You guys have to help me, I've never been on a date like this. Cash and I never got a chance to and I don't even know if I'm ready for a new rela-" "Y/N CALM DOWN!" Louise said. I nod. "We will help just stay calm." I nod again. "You're right I'm sure I'll be fine."
