Elements and Emotions

Chapter 1

Snow's *POV*

"Well here I go again, my 437 Suicide attempt and counting" I mumble under my breath fogging into the cool night air.

I approached the Suicide bridge, that's what people call it, I come up closer to look down to the water 100 ft below me, so many people have died here, if only I could be one of those poor souls.

I blow out a gust of wind from my mouth and the waves start to crash against the large sharp rocks.

Well here goes nothing 'seriously'.

I climbed up the short stone wall, small pebbles crunching under me feet.
The Sky begins to shake and grumble. "Leave me alone Mother" I yell up at the sky.
My foot slips a little, I regained balance and stood back up.

I bend my knees getting ready to jump, okay One... Two...

"STOP!" "STOP!" "DON'T JUMP, DON'T DO IT!" I heard a unfamiliar male voice yell my way.

If only he knew I wouldn't die anyways.

My mother would just send a lighting bolt my way and bam I'm alive again, it sucks I am literally traped in this world with no way out.

I didn't bother turning around to see the guy calling after me.
I stared at the water crying, and shivering from the cold breeze blowing around me.

I decide to talk to the man, who obviously doesn't care he probably just didn't want to witness a suicide.

" And Why Shouldn't I" I yell out still not turning around.

"Because you might not think it right now, but there's a future for you, a bright one. You still have so much to live for, You were put on this earth for a reason possibly for a really good reason, don't give everything up, think about your loved ones or the people you love, how will they feel. Your beautiful don't be another lost soul."
The man babbled out still going on about all these lies.

Wait I think I just heard a sob, I think he's crying.

I still didn't dare turn around.
"Look I've had a suicide attempt myself and I'm so happy I didn't end up leaving this world, I have also lost many great friends to suicide to, and I know we don't know each other but I don't want to lose you, we could become good friends possibly, So please just come down and we can talk."

I heard him sob out to me. I felt two large arms wrap around my waist and pull me down into a hug, I hugged the stranger tightly and sobbed into his chest.

"What's your name?" He asked. "S- Snow fl- flakake Evergreen, stupid right?" I choked out.

"I think that's a beautiful name"
He stated.

"Umm I need to go" I said squirming from his grip, I sprinted all the way to my house.

I opened the door and was greeted by one of my many Animals.

"Hey Sally" I said aloud hugging her neck then patting her back.
Sally is a Moose, one of my favorite animals at my home.

I have a huge aquarium, 4 turtles, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 giraffe's, a baby elephant, 3 grizzly bears, a Moose, and some Quails and parrots. We are like one big happy family.
I'm hoping soon I can get a Tiger.

I walked out to the back yard to the big garden and lay down near the big willow tree by the Deer.

Why did that guy try to help me, no one would ever do that I'm just the Freak, the outcast ,the ugly girl who no one cares about.

I heard a small trumpet noise and saw Sheldon running to me, he's my baby elephant, " Ha ha ha ha S- Stop shel -sheldon" I breathed out in-between laughs.
He stopped tickling me and lay down next to me resting his trunk across my stomach.

I felt a cold shock in my shoulder and jumped right up, "DAD!" I yelled then went to hug him.

Sheldon getting startled and ran around in a circle as if he saw a mouse. We both laughed a little.

"What are you doing here" I asked joyfully.

My Dad usually comes rarely ,usually to pick up my Snowflake drawings or on a special occasion. He has been working on saving the Artic, I heard that the whole place is just falling into the sea from global warming.

"Close your eyes Snow" he says and I do as told.

"Okay you can open them now". I open my eyes to a small baby penguin , he's so adorable.
I frowned when I saw that his wing was wrapped up.

"He's yours now ,but he will need to get healed up first." He says handing him to me.

I take the small puffball into my hands, it's a little depressing because usually I only get orphaned animals.

"Thanks, he's beautiful" I say smiling a the small creature in my hands.

I watched my dad as he created a small Biome in my backyard there's a small glacier, some snow, and a small pond.

My yard has different Biomes in it. I have a small Forest, Rain forest, Desert, regular yard and now a small piece of the Artic.

I set my new friend in the igloo and walked with my dad into the house.

"I will be staying here for just a few days" he said grabbing a bucket of ice cream.

I handed him my Snowflake drawings and he smiled studying each one. I draw snowflakes with cool designs in them some are just abstract and others have drawings hidden in them.

He takes them and turns them into real snowflakes and spreads them in different places when it's winter.
So I usually get to admire my work 1 month a year when it snows here.

"Um hey I think I will head off to bed, goodnight" I said yawning at the end.

"Okay Darling and Happy Early Birthday." He says "Oh and I think your mom will visit you tonight." He said smiling.

I returned the smile and walked up to my room, not before grabbing my cat gypsy she's my best friend my favorite animal ever, I love her so much.

I set her on my bed and curled up with her. I can't wait to see my Mother.

She usually comes to me in my dreams, or through my surroundings. I don't get to really see her in person like I do my dad.

My eyelids started to get heavy, and I drift off into a peaceful sleep.
