"Don't tempt me.." he whispered softly. "because when I start I won't be able to stop."

My heart was beating incredibly fast I was nearly certain that the people down below could hear it. My lips were tingling and my body felt as if it were on fire. I felt hot even as the icy wind was ripping my hair and blowing it in all sorts of directions. At that moment I had such an influx of emotions around me that I could hardly stand. His dark eyes captured mine and I felt like I was going to explode.

I had always felt that making direct eye contact with someone was far more intimate than any other type of sexual or deviant act. Being able to stare down at someone the world going on and rushing around you—unable to focus on anything but the person in front of you—it was simply an act that was so intimate and pure that could reveal so much about the person in front of you. It was like standing completely bare in front of someone and letting them analyze every imperfection, every scar, every pore, every single atom in your being. And being with him did that. Jack's deep brown eyes were like rich chocolate. Full of hidden sweetened but rigid and bitter like mud. There was so much going on in his eyes that it felt like I couldn't breathe. I couldn't make out anything.  (This was literally so deep. But I mean it's kinda just like she's lost in the moment, I wanted that deep effect but not that weird deep effect. Comment and let me know what you think. This is a first draft anyways)

"W-We can't.." I whispered. "i-its not right.."I stammered at a loss for words.

Jacksons eyes twinkled as he backed away. "Age is simply a number," he whispered. "it shouldn't determine anything."

"Jack?"

We both darted our eyes to my mother who was stepping out of the elevator. I felt as if I had slammed into a brick wall. Awakened from one of the most beautiful and intimate moments of my life.

"Why hello Ana," Jack grinned stepping down from the ledge while helping me down. "I was afraid I'd never be able to get ahold of you tonight. Fortunately, I was introduced to Artemis here and I'm quite fond of her. She's so sweet, just like her mother!" He charmed.

"Oh stop it Jackson!" My mother cooed. "You're such a gentleman!" She chirped.

Oh god. I felt my cheeks heat up in embarrassment. She was drunk. He voice was high and she was swaying all over the place. No wonder she hadn't questioned what we were doing up here.

"I'm going to have to excuse my mother and I, she's clearly not sober-" I began before my mother pushed her finger against my lips.

"Oh hush Missy! It's an open bar and I will drink till I can't stand on my own two feet! But don't worry, Jack will take you home-"

"Mom-"

"Shhh!" She whispered putting her finger on my lips, nearly shoving it up my nose. "No butts! Just your fathers butt!" She giggled.

"MOM!" I yelled in embarrassment. "Oh god—Jack let's go!"

"Bye!" My mother giggled coming into the elevator. "Your father and I will be late tonight but don't worry, we will come home!" My mother giggled.

The elevator dinged open and I couldn't have been more ecstatic. Jack and I helped my mother back into the hall and I waved good bye to her as she headed over to the bar. I followed Jackson to his car and being a gentleman he opened he door for me. I slid inside and he came and sat in the drivers seat. He turned on the radio and we were on our way within a couple seconds.

"How did you enjoy the party?" I asked as we exited the parking lot.

"It was nice," he smiled. "I got to see a side of your mother that I've never seen.." he explained causing us both to fall into a fit of laughter.  I was softly thanking the Lord for helping me be so slick after what had occurred on the rooftop. Truthfully if my mother hadn't come I would have kissed him. It was wrong on many levels, most of the ethical and the other was the cold hard facts of reality. He was older than me—I didn't know by how much but he was certainly in his mid to late twenties. I was barely turning eighteen in June.
