The Stars Above

Chapter 2

When it got to the end of the day all I had was one class left, this is one of the two that me and Kyle have without Nikki. While Nikki went to her class me and Kyle walked to the soccer field.
       
      Then Kyle said " how good are you at soccer?"
         
        I looked at him a second then said " I've been playing since I was little so...I think I'm good,so how are you liking Green Borrow High?"
        
     It's not bad, it's bigger then our last school, I'm glad i can take soccer here.he finished.
    
      When we got to the field we went our separate ways him to the guys side and me to the girls. Once the coach saw me she started talking on what we're doing today.
    
   "Hello I'm Coach Greylock and today we're going to do a scrimmage with the guys." Then she quieted down and said " and you better beat there sorry asses, if not were running all week." We all looked up at each other and nodded.
    
      Then she put us all in positions.Then both guts and girls all met on the field. I was put in the middle to fight for the ball and to my surprise Kyle was put in center as well, then someone blew the whistle and the game started we both fought our heart for the ball, I'll admit he's good.

       But in the end I get the ball and run for the goal by team mates beside me running down the field. Then I passed the ball to Taylor who knew what I was doing a head of time and then someone stole the ball from her... it was Kyle.

    Then with all my might I ran for that ball bd then we were at each other, I finally kicked it over to the girl who's name I think is Sammy. But while I kicked it out from under his feet i fell on my back. He came over and asked I think if I was ok but I couldn't tell with all this adrenaline running through me so I said yes and ran back toward the ball.
    
     I was a bit dizzy but fine enough to keep going. Then a girl named Hallie kicks the ball into their goal. one to nothing. I went back to my position and started again.

    The guys were coming up fast I knew one of their best players and he was coming at me. Jack wayward. I stopped him in his tracks I kicked the ball up and i hit the ball of my head to hopefully one of my teammates. And thank the lord it went to Ari cause I k ow she's got this.

      I ran after her and then over to the goal so she could pass it to me. As she did I kicked it up, then in the goal. Their goalie missed it by inches.

        Then the bell rang and it was time to go change and leave. When I came out in what I was wearing I saw Kyle he stood up and walked to me then said "your not just good a good player, your great at it, and now we should go meet my sister or she might just yell at us for being late." He said in a cheerful mood.

         Then we walked over to the parking lot and net up with his two sisters. Then Nikki asked "When do you go to work tonite, and where are you working again, I forgot?"

       "Well I'm working at some cafe up the road, and I think I go in at five. He said looking at the time on his phone.

       Then I said " Hey if it's the cafe i think your speaking of, I work there I go in around five as well.And I better go I need to get home I'll see you at work."

      Then I got in my car without another word. I felt bad for not staying longer. But I need to get home, Mom probably needs me.

      I drove home passing one of my favorite places in the world. If you go down that little dirt road you'll find a tree and at night you can look up and see the stars. Its where i go to think most times.
