A/N: Well this is it, folks! The last chapter, its a bit short too.... I may continue it someday but for now this is all I want to write.
It was 8:30 pm. Exactly twelve hours since I had last been here. I stood outside Aunt Edna's office for the third time, filled with trepidation. I liked to believe that I could do anything; a belief that had been bolstered by my parents support. Except I now knew that their belief in me had had its limits. And I had found many times that I had limits too. This was probably one of those times I had reached my limit; I was completely out of my depth. But I am stubborn, and stupidly continue to believe that I can do anything. I took a deep breath, and crossed the threshold.
Lillian was still at that small table; one look at my face and she smiled and stood, crossing to the back of the room. She pulled one book on the bookshelf, and the whole wall slid away, revealing a brilliant white hallway.
"Welcome to the IRA, Penelope."
