Tìo Eric (Part 2)

Lidia's P.O.V.

"Aye yo, look at her shoes tho; them shits ain't even Nike", One of the girls say as the other girls roared in laughter.

"Exactly, and what the fuck she got on; honey you be shopping at the thrift shop?", She says as she laughed.

I sighed, "Can you please-."

"I'm sorry I can't understand you", She joked.

I continued, "Leave me-."

"Huh?", She says cutting me off.

I got up and walked out of the lunch room before walking to the front office and calling my father, shortly after my uncle Eric picked me up. "So what'd you need to come home early for", He questions.

"I... I didn't feel good", I answer.

"Oh... I hope you feel better". He says as he watched me from the corner of his eye.

I stayed silent, still stuck on what happened at school, "A lot's changed since we last saw you; I missed... We missed you a lot."

When he parked I quickly got out of the car and ran upstairs to my bedroom before slamming my door closed and laying down, a few minutes later I heard a soft knock on my door. "Lili", Eric says before slowly opening the door.

"I'm fine, please leave Eric", I say as I stared at the wall.

"What's wrong Lili", He asked.

"Nothing", I answer but I knew that wouldn't be good enough for him due to him being super nosey.

He slowly walked into my room and sat on my bed. "What's wrong Lili", He asked once again as he rubbed my hair.

I sighed. "I get bullied... Alot."

"Kids at your school?"

"Yes", I say as I wipe my eyes.

He got up and walked towards my door. "No no nooo", I say before quickly getting up and pushing him against the wall by his chest.

He held my wrist, "This has to stop Lili."

"I know but if they find out I snitched, its gone get worse."

He slightly frowned, "Then stand up for yourself."

"I just hate confrontation, I don't wanna get into it with anyone; I just wanna go to school, learn, and come home", I say before sitting on my bed.

He sat next to me, "I understand that but... If you don't do anything they're gonna keep doing this shit."

I covered his mouth, "Stop cursing."

He laughed, "My bad."

I moved my hand, "I know though, I just wish they would stop."

"You can't believe everything they tell you", He says as he rubbed my face.

I looked down, "When you hear it over and over again, how could you not?"

He held my head up by my chin, "There's nothing wrong with you, it doesn't matter what you have on or how you sound. Nothing is wrong with you."

I looked in his eyes as he wiped my tears, "If you want I can take you to get some new clothes but... You're perfect to me."

I don't know what happened but the longer he looked in my eyes the faster my heart would beat, it was so quiet, and the only thing I could hear was me breathing slower and slower.

He leaned in as he held my chin and gently kissed my cheek. "It'll be ok", He says before leaning up and walking towards my bedroom door.

"Hey uh... Yeah can you take me to get some new clothes? I don't have much money b-."

"Don't worry about money, I'll take care of that just be ready at 5:00 tomorrow. Okay?", He says as he held my door open.

"Yeah", I say as I rested my moist hands on my bed, I watched as he walked out of my bedroom and down the stairs.

The next day was Saturday, I slept till 4 before finally getting ready; when 5 hit, Tìo was right outside waiting for me. I walked downstairs and outside before getting in the front seat. "You ready?", He asked

"Yup", I say as I put my seatbelt on.
