Annalise W.I sighed as i wiped at the tear that fell down my face. What Darryl had said the the other day, was still bothering me because it brought back the memories that I tried to push into the back of my head for 5 years, back out.
It's like he cutted open a wound that was trying to heal, then threw in salt in the wound.
Every single one of the bad memories came hitting me back, and it made me feel so mad, confused, and sad at the same time.
My phone vibrated against the dresser, making me turn, then grab it seeing that Odell had texted me.
Odell🙄-Where are you?
I'm omw .
I closed my phone and threw it on the bed, wiping my face, as I looked at the mirror. Today was Odell's game and I was not going to ruin it with my mood.
I gave myself a once over and nodded, as I ran my hands down my body.
I wore a casual striped bodycon dress with my all white adidas original superstars. On my neck was a gold chain, a gold watch on my wrist.
My hair was braided into some goddess braids from earlier.
I sprayed my favorite vanilla fragrance over my body and grabbing my black side purse, I threw my phone, mascara, lip gloss, money, ID, lotion, my phone charger, headphones, and my pack of gum in there for later.
I grabbed the house keys and made my out of the house, walking over to the parking lot, I noticed Jaycee's car.
I opened the door and got in."Hey bestie."she spoke as she pulled out of the parking lot and onto the street.
I chuckled."Wassup Jay."
"Oh nothing, just ready to get to the tailgate party and eat some food."I nodded then looked over at her noticing her white and blue cheer outfit.
"I still can't believe that your a cheerleader."she glanced over at me before looking back at the road.
"Why?"
"Because, your much cooler than the cheerleaders I used to see back at high school."I started while I picked at my manicured nails."they always thought that they were better then everyone, they thought that the world revolved around them. And they were bullies, they never bullied me but they bullied other people."
"I used to cheer since the 6th grade but stopped around my junior year because of them. They wanted to control me around and shit, but I wouldn't let them so I quit the team. Everyone was so sad because I was one of the best cheerleaders."
"Ooh then you should join me. We'll be cheer besties or whatever they call it."I chuckled while nodding my head.
"I'll think about it."I said as I watched her pull in a parking lot.
We stepped out the car and made our way to the tailgate party, Dat Way boomed from the speakers.
There was all types of food everywhere, a lot of people everywhere."Lise, you hungry?"Jaycee asked, causing me to nod.
