I never really knew I was going to end up being "different". I also didn't know I was going to have a companion in life who supports me. But I knew that one day everything would end.
I put on my shoes. " Summer! C'mon, we have to go!" My mother yells to me from downstairs. " I'm coming!" I reply. I grab my coat off the hanger in my closet and run downstairs. " I'm here!" I pant. " Let's go!"
After my mom, dad, and me get into the car, I say excitedly, " Where are we going?" There is silence in the air." We are going to a high rated hotel for YOUR birthday." Yay! I can't wait.
Once we get there, I drop my bags and look around. There's machines, tables and chairs. There's even gambling! I run back to mom and dad. " Can I gamble?" I ask. Mom laughs. I look over to dad and he has a guilty look on his face. He looks away. "What's going on dad?" I ask. He ignores me.
