Lexa's P.O.VDo you ever feel constant eyes on you? Someone is watching your every move. Like someone is following your every footstep. Watching you from outside your house every night.
I do.
I get these texts every now and then saying these weird and creepy things. I've told my friends and mum about them, everyone I tell gives the same answer "you're just being paranoid".
But I'm not and I know it.
I'm at school right now. My long, wavy hair swaying as I quickly walk to class hoping not to be too late.
I push open the door more forcefully than I had planed to, the door had slammed into the wall making a loud banging noice. Everyone including the teacher, Mr Green looked in my direction.
"Sorry I'm late," I say quietly ashamed this had been the third time I had been late this week. I searched through our my brain trying to come up with a good excuse when one piped into my head. On the spot I thought was pretty reasonable excuse for the time that I had. "My car broke down."
"Take a seat Lexa," he signed annoyed. I sat down at the only seat available. The second last row on the end.
"Oh and Lexa, if your going to come up with an excuse make sure you don't use the same one as you did yesterday. Detention." He said in a stern voice.
I signed and mentally cursed myself out for not thinking properly.
The school day went by quicker than I had expected leaving me in detention. I had only been here fifteen minutes and I was already bored out of my mind. The detention teacher was really strict, she made us put our phones on her desk and if we had one noise we would be in detention for the rest of the week.
There was only 5 people here. 3 'bad boys' and 2 girls who looked like they only got here because they couldn't stop talking about the new clothes one of them got.
Finally I we were let out from the hell known as detention. I grabbed all my things and snatched my phone of the desk in the front of the room. I turned it on checking the time and groaned when I realised how late it was.
6:00.
It was starting to get dark and I still had to walk home since my mum was at work and thought I caught the bus home.
I put a earphone in one of my ears and shuffled through my playlist. By the time I had gotten out the school gates the sun had set and the dark was quickly setting in.
I had been walking for about 5 minutes when the wind had picked up. My hair started blowing through my hair leaving it all over my face. I heard bushes swaying, but thought nothing of it because of the wind.
The sound that made me question were the faint footsteps I could hear from behind me. I took out the one ear phone I had in, and listened carefully. They had stopped.
I looked behind me and I couldn't see anyone. I was just being paranoid again.
