X Factor Surprise

Zane's POV

Me and Louis were in the studio recording Everthying About You. Trying to keep our minds off Camila and Lauren even though the song was about them. That wasn't easy, trying to get them off our minds it was the most escrutiating thing ever. But finally the girls called.

"Lauren are you okay? What happened?" I bombarded her with questions.

"Woah Zane calm down!" she told me.

"Just tell me what happened." I demanded.

"Okay, me and Camila are back in the competion."

"What? How?"

"The judges thought we were to good to be let go so they put us in a group with three other girls."

"Wow, Laur thats great!"

Louis ran up to me and began bothering me with questions.

"Are you talking to Lauren? What happened to them? Is Camila okay? Whats going on?"

"Bro! Shut up. I'll tell you everything after I'm finished talking to Lauren. Now just go record your part of the song I'll be in there in a minute."

"Fine." he said walking into the booth.

"Your recording another new song. The album is going by quick. How are you writing these songs so quickly?" Lauren asked.

"It helps when there are problems going on in your life." I answered.

"What kind of problems?" she questioned.

"Girl problems." I answered.

After that phone call the girls contacted us daily, talking about the album and the competition. Over the couple of weeks we wrote more songs and became more popular to the world. We began doing live shows every day, but aslo managing to work on the album. The day came for the album release. It did well all around the world. I think everyone knew the names Louis and Zane now.

The day we got the phone call to perform on the X factor ws the greatest day of my life. After a few weeks not seeing Lauren did a toll on me but now I'll get see her. That day came and we flew out to the X Factor studio to do our sound check. We put our bags in our dressing room and headed for the stage to rehearse.

Lauren's POV

Todays the day I'll finally get to see Zane and feel like a normal girl again. Being on the X Factor is really stressful, not knowing if your going home each week takes number out on you. Feeling like a normal girl for a few hours with Zane might take the edge off.

"Dawgs, can you believe the Rocket Brothers are performing here tomorrow?" Dinah asked knocking me out of my thoughts.

"I can't wait to see Louis again." Camila stated.

"I keep forgeting you two know Zane and Louis." Normani said to me and Camz.

"Yep we go way back." I replied.

"You guys are so lucky." Ally added in.

"Why?' Camila asked.

"Because there freaking gorgeous." Dinah answered.

"Can guys even be called gorgeous?" I asked.

"Yes they can and if they can't then I'm making it a new thing because those boys deserved to be called that." Dinah said.

"Alright topic change. I don't really feel like talking about how "gorgeous" my best friend is." I stated.

"Ya its kinda weird." Camila agreed.

"Well what the hell are we gonna talk about then?" Dinah asked.

"We don't have to talk about anything. We can go see whose practicing on stage right now." I answered.

"Oh, I bet you just want to see if Keaton is on stage." Dinah sarcastically said.

"Whatever, I'm going to the stage if you guys want to stay here and talk about stupid things then go ahead." I retorted, while getting off the couch and walking to the door.

"Wait! Lo, Dinah was kidding weren't you Dinah." Ally stopped me from leaving.

"Not really." Dinah answered, while I rolled my eyes.

"Dinah Jane!" Ally yelled.

"Alright fine yes I was kidding. Lets go to the stage now."

We all left the room and headed to the stage. I heard a song playing while I was backstage, almost exiting to the stands.

"Lo doesn't those voices sound familiar?" Camila asked.

"Your right Camz they do."

We both ran to the stand and saw Zane and Louis on stage rehearsing. Camz and I went ballistic. We both screamed and ran for the stage. The boys stopped singing and engulfed us in hugs.

"What are you guys doing here? We we werent expecting you till later tonight?" Camila asked pulling away from Louis.

"We just came earlier, it was a last minute change." Louis answered.

"Even better." I added.

"Sure is." Zane said.

Zane looked at my differenly. It felt like he was staring into my soul. I couldn't bring my eyes to his, but when I did I felt something deep within. I heard a cough from the side. I broke eye contact with Zane and saw the girls standing dumbfounded.

"Oh! Boys these are the other girls, Dinah, Normani, and Ally." I introduced them.

"Nice to meet you." Louis said shaking every girls hand then wrapping his arm around Camila.

The girls all smiles on their faces, then one second they were all frowning.

"Don't turn around Lo, but the Emblem 3 boys are walking this way." Dinah whispered.

I barely had time to pull myself before I felt two arms around my waist and kiss on the cheek. Keaton was always been friendly since we met but, he's extra touchy with me than any other girl contestant. I think he has a major crush on me. I'm not going to lie I have led him on sometimes, now I realized I was being stupid.

I looked over at Zane and he all of a sudden looked tense. He took a few steps back. His hands balled into fist and his nose began to twitch. I knew he was mad. Being friends for a long time has its advantage point. I know every emotion he's feeling by his appearance. So why was he mad?
