"Taehyung?What are you doing here?"Mrs Jeon asked in surprise. I bowed at her."안녕하세요 Mrs Jeon,can I meet Jungkook for a second?There's something I want to tell him."I said politely.She chuckled softly."Tell what?You want to tell more jokes?"She said and continued her chuckle.I frowned."Jokes?"I asked her. "Yeah,Jungkook came home with non-stop laughing.He even cried. Your jokes must be hilarious."She said."So,Jungkook hid it from his mom."I mumbled softly."What did you say?"Mrs Jeon asked."Ah nothing.Can I meet him?"I asked her.She smiled and opened the door wider."Sure.Come in.
"Jungkook is in his room.You go meet him first.I want to make some snacks first."She said but I shook my head."No need for snacks.I just want to meet him just for a few minutes."I said, refusing her nice intention."Are you sure?"She asked again.I nodded."Okay then,if you need anything,I will be in the kitchen." She said and walked straight to the kitchen.I went upstairs and walked to Jungkook's room.
Arrived at his room,I knocked the door softly."Mom?"I heard his voice."Uhm no.Its me. Taehyung."I said.I waited for him to reply but I didn't hear any. "Can I come in?"I asked.Still,no answer."I understand if you don't want to meet me.I'm leaving.Ah! You left your phone at my house earlier.I will pass it to your mom. Bye."I said and decided to leave. As I was walking,I heard the door knob got twisted and the door creaked open.I turned around and stepped into the room slowly.He was sitting at the edge of his bed.He tried to hide his sniffle but failed.I closed the door and attempted to approach him but he stood up,running away from me.I grabbed his arm. "Don't run away.I know you're crying.Because of me."I said.
We sat on the bed silently.None of us spoke up.Suddently, Jungkook broke the silence."My phone."I startled."W-what?"I stuttered."My phone."He repeated his words without looking at me.I shoved in my hand into my jeans pocket and took out his phone.I gave it to him."Thanks."He thanked."You're welcome."I said and continued. "I'm sorry for my act earlier."I apologized.He shook his head. "No need to apologize.You has the right to be mad.I'm deserved t-"I cut his words by giving him a hug.He went speechless."You had misunderstood.I'm not mad at you.I'm only disapppointed and sad that you hid it from me.I had already said that I will never gone mad at you,right."I said and broke the hug."I'm sorry.Actually I checked your phone earlier."I confessed,making his eyes got widen."I realised that you have nobody else except your family. Thank you so much for accepting not just me but even Jimin and Hoseok as your friends.I felt so guilty for being such an asshole to you.I'm s-"This time,he cut my words by cupping my mouth with his right hand."Just forget it."He said and removed his hand off from my mouth."Lets just forget all of those things.We just gonna be awkward."He said and smiled.His smile,I felt like I didn't seen it for years."I promise to protect you from JungSoo with my life."I said and presented my box-smile.He giggled."What? With your life?I'm not your boyfriend."He said."That is what real friends do."I said.
We walked downstairs to the front door.Then,I remembered something."Ah!Jungkook-ah I almost forgot.We still didn't have each other numbers."I said.He nodded and we exchanged our phone number."Call me."I teased him and walked to my house.He just chuckled.We waved to each other and walked into our own houses.
After dinner,I walked straight to my room.It was a relief that Baekhyun shut his mouth from telling dad about the situation between me and Jungkook earlier or I will be finished.I jumped onto my bed.I shoved out my phone from my pocket and searched for Jungkook's number.After I found it,I sent him a text.

After a few seconds,my phone bipped

Both of us texted to each other until midnight.After saying goodbye,I exited from the chatbox and turned on the alarm.Then,I put my phone on the night stand.I laid properly and pulled my blanket until it reached my chest.I closed my eyes and stepped into my dreamworld.
