A Sweet Treat (KHR FANFIC)

A Treat For You!

This is it. Today's the day, the day where those chocolates poured with love will be given to that special someone.

Females in all shapes, sizes and age could be seen chattering amongst themselves, a special something could be clearly seen within their hold.

On the males' side, we could see very clearly their expectant looks, glancing once in awhile at those cute packages, eager to receive it from the fairer sex.

Everywhere you look, couples filled the streets, love hanging in the air as the people celebrate Valentine's Day.

Of course, the Vongola mansion is no exception. Chocolates were given to one another, and a certain brunet seemed to receive more than he could carry.

Since the moment he stepped out of his bedroom, Tsuna had been given chocolates from the maids serving under him. It would have been fine, if not for the fact that the maids in Vongola are made up of more than one hundred maids! As if that's not enough, Tsuna had also received some obligatory and not-so-obligatory chocolates from the butlers and staffs working at Vongola mansion.

By the time the clock showed twelve in the afternoon, Tsuna had received so many chocolates it almost filled up two unused room!

Sighing, Tsuna plopped himself into the chair behind the oak desk in his office, glad to finally be able to arrive at his office. He leaned back into the seat, intending to grab a quick nap for a bit since he slept late last night, only to be interrupted by the loud bang of the door being opened by force.

Groaning, Tsuna cracked opened an eye, trying to see who it was, only to widen his eyes in surprise when many variety of shapes, sizes and colors of boxes were thrusted in front of his face.

Blinking twice, he was finally able to see beyond the wall of boxes and was tremendously surprised to see his guardians, including his two most volatile guardians, and close friends smiling -some even blushed a little- with their hands outstretched, offering gifts to him.

"...what is all this?" Tsuna asked, still shocked at the fact that nothing has been broken, even though the Hibari Kyouya and Rokudo Mukuro are in the same room.

"It's Valentine's Day today! So here's our chocolate for you, Tsuna-san!" Haru answered.

To say he was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. He was violently surprised. It never occurred to him that someone would give him chocolates on Valentine's Day. Even when he received the chocolates from the workers earlier, he only brushed it off as another weird tradition of some sort in Vongola. The fact that not only one, but more than two people would give him chocolates on Valentine's Day... Tsuna couldn't help but blush furiously in embarrassment.

"T-this is really... umm... I mean..." Tsuna trailed off, tongue-tied and too embarrassed to say anything. He hid his face behind the many gifts he got from them. "T-thank you very much..." Tsuna muttered shyly, his ears visibly turning red.

Silence filled the room.

Curious and odd at how quiet it is, Tsuna peeked a little, trying to see what happened, only to gape in shock when the office that was fully occupied just now was empty, void of everyone but him. Tsuna wondered how they were able to sneak out of the office without him hearing them leave.

Before he could think any further, a man in black suit wearing a yellow-stripped fedora walked in, a smirk settling on his face. "Reborn!" Tsuna greeted the newcomer with delight. "I thought you said you won't be home today?" he asked.

Reborn said nothing as he held out a slim box neatly wrapped in yellow with a red ribbon on it to Tsuna. "Happy Valentine's Day."

Tsuna stared blankly at Reborn. A few seconds later, a blush crept up his face, dusting his cheeks with the color red. Tsuna accepted the gift, using it to cover his face from Reborn. "T-thank you, Reborn..." Tsuna shyly said behind the gift.

Reborn just smirked, ruffling Tsuna's hair gently, eliciting a surprised yelp and a more redder face from the brunet before he walked out of the office. "Enjoy," he said as he closed the door.

Tsuna stared for a moment at the door before he looked down at the gift that Reborn had gave. He then decided to see what the hitman had given and carefully began to pry off the wrappings.

Once he was done, he opened the lid of the box, and was surprised to see some animal-shaped chocolates in it. Picking up a lion-shaped chocolate, Tsuna bit into it without a second thought. "...sweet." Tsuna commented as he enjoyed the treats he received from his loved ones.
