prologue

Yoongi a 12 year old boy who knew nothing about friendship because he never had one before. He was always the one in the corner of the cafeteria eating his PBandJ sandwich. He was never the one to be the first one to speak up. He didn't care if people made fun of him.

He just didn't care about life itself...

That's until he came into his life..

How they both meet was strange...VERY STRANGE. Who knew that having the SAME lunchbox would start something so "magical" but they didn't question it.

They only cared about each other and no one else. They didn't see anyone in their eyes except each other.

Who knew that a new house,in a new neighborhood could change everything that they had.

Who knew that one "promise" could mend their relationship.

Let's explain from the start....

12 year old Yoongi pov

Another day in this boring place called prison or as some people call it "School". I never really liked school because THEY hurt me, THEY taught me bad things. I wish I never meet THEM. I was lost in my thoughts that I forgot that the teacher was even talking but my ears perked at something she said " We have a new student". We hadn't had a new student in a long time so I was interested in the new student. That's when he came in a boy who introduced himself as "jimin".

I never really paid attention to him when he first got here. I could tell he was going to be a popular one since he was already making friends . But every time I look at him I always wondered if he's a midget? He's very small for someone at his age or it might be that he's really smart and skipped a grade or two.

While everyone was busy talking about the new kid I was wondering when was lunch. I was hungry because I decided to skip breakfast. I guess my mom was right. As soon as I thought that the bell rang which meant it's time for the only time I enjoyed school. Lunch...
I was in a hurry that I grabbed my lunchbox and didn't even bother to look at it.

When I made it to my safe zone in the corner of the cafeteria I was about to open my lunchbox when I noticed something.....jimin's name is on the lunchbox!!! When I was in the middle of calling myself a big fat idiot someone said "excuse me but I think you might have my lunchbox..." when I looked up at who said I saw jimin. I looked back at him and said " oh....um.... here's your lunchbox....sorry" when I gave his lunchbox and he gave me mines.

When I looked away from him not trying to make the situation more awkward then it is. He sat next to me and said "you don't mind if I sit with you" I responded with "no..... i don't mind" he laughed at my behavior and tried to make the best of the situation.

And that's how it all happened.. Soon enough we became best friends that we visit each other, and even had sleep others.

Every good memory that I have has him... Jimin

But I never thought that he would say those words to me "I'm moving back" I was shocked...and I was crying.... well we both were.

When we were both crying.. jimin said with a pinky finger out " promise me that when we meet again... both of us  will remember each other" I was shocked that he would think that I would forget him. So I quickly responded and said "promise"  and put my pinky with his

He promised me that he would remember US...

So why...

Why can't he remember US...

If he wasn't even going to remember US than....WHY DID YOU MAKE THAT PROMISE!!!!
