He couldn't believe it. He had wanted to know what happened to the children, but this... this was more than he bargained for. He hoped that the kids had simply been kidnapped or something. But Scott had never in his life expected to witness his best friend to mercilessly slaughter five children and stuff their lifeless bodies into the suits. William Afton was a psychopathic murderer. He had lured the kids into the back room and locked the door, all while wearing a suit to quickly gain their trust. Scott knew that he was sadistic and mostly uncaring, but he had never thought Will would have the nerves to kill Olivia of all kids. After the deed was done, he stepped out and talked to the parents, trying to calm them and doing a marvellous job, too. Scott took this opportunity to sneak in and actually see what this heartless killer had done, seeing as he had not been able to enter. He only heard the confused shouts of the children, muffled demands from William, a few punches being thrown, followed by muffled crying, and then finally, silence. He looked around. There was blood on the floor. Will probably put the cleaning off for later, seeing as the only reason he left, was because a commotion was starting to rise with the adults. It wasn't too visible at first glance, but the old animatronics seemed... off. Something was wrong with them. He peeked inside the Foxy suit and nearly screamed at the top of his lungs; an action that would've surely caught Will's attention and busted him. It was Olivia. Her eyes had been torn out and her throat slit. Scott then noticed a torn cloth beside the animatronic. Will must have blindfolded her and then stabbed her eyes to keep her from seeing who was about to kill her. He refused to look inside the others, as that would most likely be the hiding spots for the others. But... there were only four suits. Where was the fifth child?
Silence. He hadn't even noticed how everyone stopped talking. How long had it been going on? He had to get out before Will found him, otherwise he'd be done for. Scott peeked out to see if the coast was clear and saw no one. Lucky him. He silently ran out to the dining area, where four parents were anxiously waiting, while William himself observed them from a bit away. His back was leaned against the wall and his arms were crossed; he looked annoyed. "Will? What's going on?" Scott stammered out, trying his best not to sound suspicious.
"Some kids left and now their parents can't find them," the purple clad man replied in a calm tone. He scanned the crowd ever so slowly, but Scott knew it was all an act to make him seem less suspicious. Of course, he couldn't say anything about it, unless he wanted to die as well.
"I'll go looking for them as well," he then said and ran off. His knees were weak and he was trembling badly. He could barely function near Will, since he had become well aware of what the man was capable of. But why was he just standing there? He might look suspicious to the parents. Of course. He was probably making sure they wouldn't run off and stumble over their lifeless children. That was the moment Scott decided he would stick around to see where the fifth child had gone; a stupid and reckless decision on his behalf.
Come nightfall, everyone had gone home; everyone but William and Scott. Scott had hid in the kitchen while William made his way to the back room. First then, he decided to come out of his hiding spot and follow the purple clad murderer to just outside the door. He pressed his ear to the cold metal and listened closely. Will was scrambling around inside, presumably cleaning up. He then let out a low, eerie chuckle.
"Don't take it personally, kids. Look at the bright side! Now you won't have to leave this place." He stood up and groaned. "Honestly, though, I have no idea why you like it here. I would ask, but..." Will chuckled. "You're all dead." Scott's heart skipped a beat. He had known this man since he was born, so why hadn't he seen the signs sooner? Sure, Will was sadistic and often joked about death, but quite a few people were like that. He took a few steps back, but tripped over his own shoelaces and slammed his head into the wall. Silence. That was when Scott decided to make a run for it. Once he was in the dining hall, he heard an all too familiar chuckle from the corridor that he had just escaped from. "Scottie~" William cooed. He knew. Scott started trembling and frantically looked around for a place to hide. As he heard the footsteps getting closer, he dove under the tables in a blind panic. Luckily for him, it seemed to work; William walked right past him, still cooing his name. Once he was out of earshot, Scott crawled out and booked it towards the kitchen. Of course he had to make enough noise to catch Will's attention while doing so. "Scott!" he shouted. "Come on, Scottie, I just want to talk!"
