Once I am up and dressed, I go downstairs. Paul has been hurrying me all morning. I smile at Anne before I am dragged outside my Paul. I yank my arm back.
"I can walk, you mother fucker." I grumble.
Paul sighs before slamming his door closed. I roll my eyes before climbing on the back of the truck. He speeds down the road, almost causing me to fall off, he might be angry, but he needs to be careful with me.
I storm inside, ignoring Paul's calls. The pack all leave and Emily hands me a chocolate chip muffin. I drink a glass of milk after finishing the delicious muffin Emily baked.
"Emily, can you teach me how to bake?" I ask honestly.
"Of course." She chirps. "Come on, let's get started."
I smile before following her back into the kitchen. She hands me a cool book and asks me to get the ingredients to triple fudge, chocolate chip cookies. This is going to be a lot of chocolate.
I lay the ingredients on the counter and Emily tells me how to mix it together, she teaches me the measurements of the eggs and milk. I smile as I pour the batter into the pan. I get a cookie cutter and I cut out the different butterfly shaped cookies.
The buzzer on he oven goes off when the cookies are done. I grab the oven mitts and I pull the done cookies out of the oven. Emily claps for my successful cookies before putting them in the fridge to cook.
I grab a cookie to taste when they are cooked completely. I hand one to Emily and she tastes it. She smiles in bliss, as if my cookies are the best thing on earth.
"These are amazing." She smiles. "The marshmallow you added made them even better."
"Thanks." I blush deeply.
Emily smiles before putting the cookies in a bowl for the boys when the return tomorrow evening. Emily shows me to their guest room and she goes to her and Sam's room. I strip to my under garments and I climb into the cozy bed.
