Why So Little Touch Me (Part two in the Love Bites)

Taken; Pete's P.O.V.

"Pete, you and the guys head back to the van. I will meet you back there soon. I'm gonna get out whatever stragglers are left." She said as she ran by

"Ok, but be quick about it." I yelled back

She ran back without a second glance. I found the Patrick, Joe, and Andy waiting for me and Tansy outside.

"Where's Tansy?" Andy asked

"She went back inside to see if there was anybody left. I'm going back in though, I have a bad feeling." I said

"Yeah, just be really careful. We don't need you dieing or getting turned." Patrick said carefully

I didn't hear a word he said though. I was already heading back in after Tansy. Of course I knew there was going to be a fight to get through. Oddly the vampire horde had thinned out greatly. There were dead bodies littering the floor of the gym.

Brendon walked up to me laughing. He had blood all over his face and hands. All down his shirt there was blood. All of it dried on, meaning he had probably been one of the first to attack.

"You'll never get her back now." he taunted

"What do you mean?" I ask

All he does is laugh hysterically and points towards the stage. I look over to where he pointed to see William holding Tansy. Tansy was trying to fight back as best she could, but her hands were being pinned against her back so she couldn't do much.

I shouted her name right as william hit her on the back of her head knocking her out. William clapped his hands and two of the Dandies picked her up and carried her out.

All of a sudden I feel a very sharp sting on my neck. The pain increased until I felt something detach from my neck. I look over my shoulder to see Travie with my blood all over his face.

"I'm really sorry I had to do that Pete, but it's the only way to save Tansy. You'll see what I mean in time, but you'll have to have William change you the rest of the way," He said with sorrow in his voice "I really wish I didn't have to, but it's the only way."

With that he turned and left. Not even hinting at what he had just done. I ran into the bathroom to clean up the mess that would surely be all over me. Surprisingly there was very little blood, once I wiped it all off I noticed that you couldn't even see the bite at all.

I ran back out to the van looking frantic. I had no idea what I was going to tell them. I was almost in tears thinking about the fact that William had gotten Tansy and I had been powerless to stop him. I made it to the van right before I completely burst into tears.

"Pete, where's Tansy?" Patrick asked frantic, not noticing my tears

"William." Was the only thing I could say

"What about him?" Joe asked

"He took Tansy." I said finally collapsing

Patrick looked terrified, and upset at the same time, Andy just stood there looking shocked, and Joe, Joe just fell to the ground crushed. Patrick's face cleared, and a look of anger and determination set in his face.

"We're going to get Tansy back even if it kills us." He said
