3rd pov.

While Sam Chisolm leads the group to find Jack Horne, Alice is currently at the back of the group with Emma. Emma is telling her about her husband and how he was murdered. Alice just nods and listens to her while thinking of the past of her loosing someone very special.

"Alright tie your horses here and the rest we go on foot. Dont worry. This man will watch over them and your belongings." Sam shouts from the front to which everyone gets off their horse.

"So Miss Alice." Alice looks towards Faraday as they begin to walk with Billy beside her watching like a protective brother. "How is it you came to know Goodnight and Billy?" Goodnight laughs a little front the front, Billy smirks and Alice gives a soft smile.

"Goodnight?" Alice raises her voice slightly to get his attention, to which he glances back at her. "Want to tell how we met? It is much more entertaining with you telling the story." He smiles and nods his head while turning back forward.

"It was sort of similar to when I met Billy...."

*flashback*

A women with two dark braids tied with ribbons weaved in and out of each one walked into a general store with two children holding her hands.

Everyone stopped and stared at the three of them, either with disgust or confusion. But two in particular men watch in interest seeing a white women holding the hands of two native children without minding at all.

When looking at the women you can tell she is young but couldn't be over 20. The little children are a set of identical twins around the age of 5, both behaving with manners. Walking up to the counter the old register attendee looks at her with slight disgust.

"What is a young white women doing with those." Pointing at the children to which they slightly hide behind her grabbing onto her "dress." Calmly looking at the man with a kind smile.

"Sir, we do not want any trouble. I am simply watching over them for their mother." Both children hold each others hands while still holding onto her dress with the other.

"Why would a white women like you even go near a Indian village? You should be at home tending to your own children." Everyone in the store freezes watching this including to two who were watching her with interest. With no emotion in her voice she replies.

"Sir, it does not concern you what I do with my spare time, as well as my life in general. Now I would like to purchase several things if you don't mind." The two gentlemen who were watching the three quietly move a little to get a better spot to watch the interaction.

"I do mind. I want you to get out. I refuse to serve that kind." Pointing at her thinking his point is going through her. She pauses as does everyone else. Giving a small nod with a face of stone she quickly turns it to a sad smile and bends down to the children's height.

"Im sorry chidren, we have to try to find another store to get the supplies." After telling them in their native language so they may understand the gentleman behind the counter pulls out his colt revolver pistol pointing it at the women. Both men begin to make their hands go towards their weapon of choice.

"I will not tolerate that in here, last warning. Get out." She stands up slowly putting her hands in the air doing the "dont shoot" position while looking at the man.

"Sir, I was telling them simply we need to find another store. I dont think you need to point that colt revolver at me." Before she can say anything else he cuts her off.

"Your right." He turns his gun at one of the twins making her go stiff and pushing them behind her.

"Sir, i was going to look past of how much you are a imbecile, but when you point your weapon at one of these children I will not look that over. Why don't we take this outside. And do a small match." All eyes turn to the women in shock of her offering to put herself in harms way. The shopkeeper looks at her in shock but quickly turns to anger of a women thinking she can out shoot him.

"Alright, since you seem to not know your place. I will teach you. Lets all go outside." With that said he stomped out the door with three of the five men that were in the shop following. She gives a small tired sigh knowing she has to keep the kids safe.

"Come along children." Leading them outside she already sees the shopkeeper standing in the middle of the road with his friends not far off to the side.

The two men follow after the three standing on her side not far from the kids, but enough to where they still feel fine. The sheriff walks out of his place looking irritated towards the shopkeeper.

"You cant go one day without starting a fight. And today its with a women. What kind of a man are you." He glances at the both seeing if they are ready. Both nod with their hands on their sides.

"One... two.... three!" The women quickly draws her pistol from her side holster and shoots the can beside the shopkeeper off the ground before the hand fully drew his revolver. Everyone shouts in shock at how fast she did that, but the shopkeeper and his three followers get mad quickly.

"She won." She sheirff announces pointing towards the girl. She nods her head in response and begins to walk towards the children.

"Hey! How about we shoot for real?!" She pauses when she is several feet away from them. Turning back towards the shopkeeper with a cold stare she responds.

"I simply came here for you supplies, not a dork measuring contest." The everyone except the children looks at her in shock at her tone but the shopkeeper tries to still look tough.

"Y-you still couldn't do it for real!" She gives a small tired sigh but stands back to where she was before and gets ready.

"On my gun." The sheriff holds his gun in the air glancing at each person making sure they are ready. After both nodding he fires to which the women draws her revolver shooting the shopkeeper in the hand with his gun now falling to the floor. With him screaming in pain his stare at her in shock.

"I think its time for us to go. Lets go children." Taking each of their hands she begins to walk away with them but what makes her push them in front of her and turns around is the sound of a gun click. Shooting the shopkeeper startles everyone except her.

*end of flashback*

"After that, me and Billy introduced ourselves being impressed how she handled that. Plus we met two sweet children." Goodnight faces forward while Faraday, Vasques, Emma and Teddy Q look at Alice in slight shock and respect.
