Chapter two

Hello! Maybe you noticed that I unpublished the first chapter, and then just published it again. There aren't any changes in it though. I was actually not even gonna continue this story, which is why I took it down. But I decided to continue it, so here is chapter two! Sorry that it took so long! And thank you for 10 reads! It means a lot! Anyways, please enjoy chapter two!

                           75 years later
"You know everything. You do this almost every week. It's just another normal dive expedition, its just in a bigger place."

Noah stared at himself in the mirror. Today he was leaving to go dive into the Atlantic Ocean, to find the famous sunken ship- The Brilliance Cruise. So many legends of ghost and aliens have been created since the boat sunk, but of course, Noah didn't believe them. At least that's what he kept on telling himself.

"Honey! Hurry up I don't want you being late!"

He sighed. At least I don't have to spend time with Jenna on this trip. Noah and his fiancée Jenna, had not been getting along very well. It's like as soon as he proposed she unleashed her true self, which is a demon! He hoped that this trip would give him the confidence he needed to call things off.

"Honey! Come on!" Jenna shouted again.

Noah ran down the stairs. Jenna was wearing her usual outfit, a expensive dress, that she bought with stolen money from Noah, and diamond earrings. She was chatting up Noah's coworker, Lucas.

"Hey man! You ready to go!" Lucas had been non stop talking about this trip for weeks.

"Yep, let's go!" Noah gave a kiss on the cheek to Jenna, saying his goodbyes. Then him and Lucas drove off to the docks in Lucas old beat up truck.

"WOOOOHOOOO!" Lucas stood at the head of the boat, shouting and dancing like a little kid.

"Hey, be careful, boss doesn't want anyone dying on this trip!" Noah reminded. They were getting closer to the spot where they believed the ship was. Noah was getting in his diving suit.

"Alright, I think we are just about above it now!"

"Sweet," Lucas walked over to Noah. "Your oxygen tanks are full, and you got some small backup tanks too. Press the red button if you need help or are in trouble. Touch the green button if you have found the ship or something valuable. And remember Morse code too."

Noah went over everything in his head. He now felt excited, he had always loved swimming and diving. The cool blue water rushing against his skin and tangling his black long hair.

"Ok, let's do this." They walked over to the edge of the boat.

"See you later man! And good luck!" Noah and Lucas did there handshake, and then Noah dived into the water.

Ahhhhh, cold. He thought. He began to imagine everything he was going to find. A guest room littered with seaweed and barnacles, a room filled with fish hiding a treasure chest! He smiled and began to swim faster and faster with excitement as the ocean around him got darker and darker.

Kenneth's point of view

What is this? What's going on? How am I breathing- how am I alive! Kenneth pushed open his tube door and stepped out. It was kind of dark, but he could make out a couple things. He could feel unknowns sea creatures swim past him and slimy seaweed rubbing up against his legs.

He took a deep breath- in water. He immediately closed his mouth and began to panic. But then, he stopped. He opened his mouth again, and the water moved out. He repeated this, trying to wrap his head around the fact that he was breathing under water. Then he turned around, expecting someone else to be there to share this experience with.

He was only greeted by the tubes with the rest of the people in it. Raymond, Shirley! He grabbed a pole that was floating beside him and smashed the window on Raymond's tube, and then to Shirley's. They both had the same reaction that he had.

"Guys, we can breath, we can speak. Remember the chips? And the tubes freezing us? They worked! We're alive!"

All 3 looked at each other. And then Shirley broke into tears.

"It worked! It really worked! Oh I though that that was the end of me! Oh thank you Kenneth for waking me up!" She swam over to him and gave him a great big hug. Then Raymond joined in.

"Hello, I'm Raymond."

"Shirley, pleased to meet ya!" Her long red hair was moving all around in the water. Kenneth thought it made her look like a mermaid. "Should we open the rest of the tubes?"

"Hmm, maybe not yet. I think we should figure out where we are, and maybe try to clean and brighten up this room. It can be our home until we explore the rest of the ship!" Raymond suggested.

"Sounds good to me. You good with that Shirley?"

"Sounds good!"

They all began to clean up the room, clearing the floor of rocks, and opening the tubes to release the light inside of them. While doing that, Kenneth began to think about how to get out of here. What if Germany has taken over? What if our world up above is in ruins, and Wes re the only people left!

Raymond could see a worried look on Kenneth's face. "I think we will be able to get out of here. I mean we can breath underwater now!"

Shirley chimed in. "That's true. And if we want to, we could live down here. We could find a small room to drain the water out of, and we could cook our food in there!"

"Kenneth, your scientist right? Do you think that could work?"

"Yea, I think it can." Kenneth laughed a little. If we can build an Atomic Bomb, than yea, we can drain a room. He remembered working on the manhattan project, it seemed like ages ago. He wondered if they ever completed the bomb.

"Alright, let's do this!"

Noah's pov

Hmmm, I wonder what kind of fish is that? Noah pulled picture his camera. The flash light up the dark ocean. He looked around at all the wildlife around him, carefully not touching any of them, or drawing any attention to himself. He checked his oxygen tank. He still had some left. I should start going up. I knew I wasn't gonna find any ship.

Noah began to swim upwards towards the surface. It was kind of hard to swim, there were lots of trash down there. Eww, is that a plastic bag! A bag had gotten stuck wrapped around his leg. He reached down the pull off. Okay. Let's go-
*CLANK*
As Noah looked up, he hit his head on a long metal rod, causing him to immediately go unconscious. He floated unconscious in the water for minutes, water filling in his lungs. Noah slowly started to sink father down into the ocean, where amazing treasures lie.
