Cathi had been right. Dean and the world were safe. But not her.

Cathi saw the sun nearly gone and knew something was wrong. Chuck had left earlier, but hasn't been back for hours. Cathi knew she needed to go. She started to leave. She stopped and wondered if she should tell Sam how she felt. 'No. That would only make the pain greater for him. I can't do that to him. Not when I know I won't be coming back.'  She teleported away, faintly hearing the others protests.

She appeared in a garden. Dean was hiding behind a pillar, bloody and bruised. Amara and Chuck were screaming and throwing lightning at each other. Cathi walked over to Dean and healed him, absorbing the soul bomb in him as well. "Cathi, you don't have to..." Dean started, but was shushed by the look of determination in Cathi's icy blue eyes. "Goodbye Dean. Make sure Sammy doesn't do anything stupid, okay?" Dean just nodded and kissed her forehead. "Go get 'em, Kit-Cat." He whispered.

Cathi stood and calmly walked over to the two raging all powerful beings. Chuck noticed and stopped. "Cathi......whatever you're doing, stop. Now." For once in her life, Cathi disobeyed her father. She walked right in front of Amara.

Amara chuckled darkly. "You think you can take me, kiddo? I am the all consuming Darkness." Cathi merely smiled at her aunt. "And I'm Cathi, Archangel Of Light And Love. And as I recall, light outshines the dark. Not to mention I have some help from a lot of friends. And we're going to be spending a lot of time together from now on."

The smirk slipped off Amara's face as Cathi took her hand and a bright light filled the garden. And through that light, you could just barely see The Mark burn itself onto Cathi's shoulder.

The light disappeared. Chuck and Dean went back to the others and told them what happened. And even though everyone else in the world was quite happy the world didn't end, they couldn't help feel like something important was gone. And that day, after a small celebration for surviving, everyone went home, and the world cries, for an angel has died.

So it did end sad. And crappily. Sorry, just didn't want to spend to much time on this.
