A Prince MUST have a Princess, otherwise he is not a Prince, however a Princess CAN be single and deemed worthy by another royal figure
4 Princesses MUST rule the Kingdom of Avondale - chosen by lead Princess (in the current time, this is Princess Ariel); Once a Princess of Avondale, she must be mostly human but can be a former mermaid or other type (Rotates every 4 years/moons); Current Lead Princesses can NOT have boyfriends/husbands
Mermaids/Merfolk are allowed to have boyfriends/girlfriends who are human
"Once you save a Handsome Hockey Playing Prince, you are a Warrior Princess and Ruler of Avondale or another kingdom."
Natives to Avondale/Kalais/Other MOST of the time can NOT travel to the real world freely. HOWEVER, they can "astral project" themselves or visit real world people through dream travel/magic mirror (IE: Evelyna to Vladdy)
Natives to the real world/NHL hockey players CAN travel, but often through the symbols of their teams in the locker room or by magical means (IE: Vladdy and Brayden vanishing into thin air according to Kuch) - If by the magical means, normally this is NOT good and this is because a villain is behind bringing them here without the heroes/heroines knowing.
Symbols are to be activated ONLY when there is a good cause (Exceptions: Dylan Larkin, Vladdy Namestnikov, Val Nichushkin)
Symbols are normally activated by a magical phrase spoken by either Princess Ariel, Princess Evelyna/Princess Shannon (given special permission - via song), any villain (through Princess Lauren), Queen Katt, Queen Tina and King Stamkos.
Locking and unlocking portals can only be done by Kings, Queens, Villains and Princess Ariel. (Unlocking it allows players to travel and be dumped at random. Locked means that the symbol is locked to a certain place. So a locked portal for the Stars, sends ANY Star to Hawk Woods/Enchanted Forest per-se.)
The Purebred Rule: Anyone who is not a "straddler" from the NHL and the Kingdom of Boltsdale/Vallet Town/Kalais/Other CAN change from mermaid to human and human to mermaid with ease to the "water border" (knee-deep) -- where once a mer-human reaches this, they can change. (Non-Purebreds: Vladdy, King Stamkos, Brayden, Matty Peca, Val, Dylan, Shannon, Tina, Evelyna, Brett, Jonne, Patrick (Basically all of the mer-human characters lol))
