Natemare's POV
I hurled towards the wall that I had covered in notes I'd been writing for years now. I smashed against the stone wall and fell against some barrels that had assorted fluids in them, knocking them over. My ears rang over the noise, I looked up and saw Nate grabbing (Y/N)'s hands and pulling her up. I pushed myself up while slipping around the place, my skin quickly felt like an inferno from anger. Nate looked at me and continued to run to the door, I ran over to him and jumped on his back like I had done when he was a kid. He still opened the door and ran out of the dark room I had tied them up in. I let go of him and grabbed (Y/N)'s shoulder, pulling her into a spare room that I had readied before I escaped from Nathan's mind. She was so beautiful, it was such a shame I had to hurt her and I almost felt bad. Almost. I watched as her mouth moved without shutting, I still couldn't hear her thanks to the ringing in my ears from the bins. I was getting sick of watching her but I still had to get Nathan and keep him away from (Y/N). He always talked about who much he missed her and ask he wanted was to see her perfect (E/C) eyes and her smile.

(BTW bold is Natemare, tilted is Nates mom and normal is Nathan. Also Nathan is in like grade 10 in this flashback.)

"*stares at picture* Man, I miss her, I wish I could've saved her without scaring her..."
'But then you wouldn't have me to talk to, your only friend. We're brothers.'
"Good point, still though."
"Nate, sweetheart... Who are you talking to?"
"My friend Nate."
"Well, would you like to come downstairs for lunch?"
"Yea!"
Nathan ran out of his room and down the stairs to the kitchen. To his surprise he saw a woman sitting at the table writing some stuff on a clipboard. He walked to the table and sat down, followed by his mother. "You must be Nathan Smith" she held her hand out, Nate reluctantly shook her hand and nodded. Once again the lady looked at her clipboard, "15 year old boy, possibly has schizophrenia, needs testing" she read aloud, Nathan's eyes widened at this. His mother thought he had schizophrenia, Nate was real and they talked about all sorts of stuff. "Here is a quiz, it's just to get a grip on where your heads at" she tried to assure the teenager as he stood up abruptly. He glared at his mother and ran upstairs to his room.
"Come on sport, you know I'm real."
"Yea I know but my mom doesn't, it just... I really hate it"
"Let your anger out Nathan, just yell at her a little"
"No, I'm gonna try and call (Y/N)"
"Suit yourself"
"*dials phone #* it's ringing"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The ringing slowly got quieter and her voice got louder, "WHERE IS NATE?!" she screamed. I smiled seeing her freak out, I honestly had no clue where Nathan had run off to and he had no clue where she was. It was hilarious, "I don't know, probably trying to find the exit" I laughed as she tried pushing past me. She gave in and sat on the bed, tears welled up on her eyes yet again. I sat next to her and wrapped my arm around her waist, pulling her towards me, under her breath I could hear her muttering Nate's name. There was a banging against the door, "WHERE IS SHE?!" Nathan yelled, I let go of (Y/N) and walked to the door. I slipped out into the hallway and stared Nathan dead in the eyes, he was full of worry, anger and agony. He grabbed my shoulders and started squeezing them, "Where is she you split freak!" He continued to yell. I loved every second of this, he was angry and she was scared, it was hilarious. I wanted to get to know (Y/N), but I loved seeing her terrified and upset, same with Nathan only I know him inside and out. He shoved past me and opened the door which I was trying to block him from. I followed after him and saw (Y/N) wrapped around Nate in an embrace, "I'm so sorry" he said, loosening his grip on her. They stood in the middle of the room, just like they did right before I escaped.
