High School Fever

This book is dedicated to all high school students like me, who knows the feeling of ONE, and wants to be one again.

Any character name similar to the text, whether living or dead is not intentionally meant by the author.

INTRODUCTION

KRRRINGGGGG!!!!!!!

"Ughhh, stop it, John! It's not funny!"

KRINGGGGGGG!!!!!!!'

"I said stop it!"

KRRINNNNGGGGG!!!!!!

"Okay, okay! Just shut up already! Aargh! The light, its burning my eyes!"

I suddenly realized that my clock was ringing.... What a nice way to start the first day of school, I thought.

I ran as quickly to the stairs, and to the kitchen, then I slipped...

"Hahahahahah! Got you there!"

By the way, my name is George. And the one who made that horrible laugh is my brother, John. You know the feeling in the morning where you wake up and someone makes fun of you. Isn't it horrible.

"Shut up John! You're the most awful brother I ever had."

"Thank you!"

I gritted my teeth as I ate my breakfast. Anyway, we live with our uncle Wayne and Aunt Martha. We were, ummm... "left" by our parents and we ended up at our aunt's place. All I knew that we were only two brothers, and we should stick together till the end.

Well, until I run out of patience for him... We also wanted to have a baby sister. We only had a girl cousin, Anna. She always call me "Geo", and i don't know why, but she was the best cousin I have ever had.

"Hi Geo! Had a nice sleep?" She asked.

"Well, yes. I didn't know that yesterday was the last day of summer for me."

"Time flies fast, and it seems like just yesterday when you were twelve years old!" uncle Wayne added.

I am now fifteen years old and I am in well, high school! High school is a very fine experience for me, and I am very excited for the first day of school.

"Hurry up! Or you will be forced to walk by yourself!" John told me.

"Ok! Whatever!" I said. I used to walk by myself to school, so I exercised a lot. I am so excited today! Well, it just doesn't show up in my face.

CHAPTER TWO

As I hurriedly bathe myself and dress, I ran outside to my brother's car. His car is an old Honda model, that has been painted poorly by a stupid artist. He's looking at his watch awkwardly and then looks at me surprisedly.

"You're two milliseconds late... You need to walk by yourself!" He teased.

"Aw, come on! That's not even fair! Anyway, I'd rather walk than ride in your broken car!" I teased back.

"It's not broken! It's just.."

"What? 'It's not broken, its just not working!' That's what you always say! Bye, I'll just walk away!"

I walked away grinning as I left my angry brother with his broken car. And when I walked, I tripped at a rock.

"Ouch! Arrrrgghh!!! Could this day get any worse?" I shouted at the wind.

"Bye, SUCKER! Hahahah!" My brother saw me tripped.

Anyway, I study at the Glenn University, which is just 8 turns away from our house.

It's the perfect place for a University, because it is never dirty. It is surrounded by pine trees, and you can tell that it is almost like a forest, a lively one. It has many students and many professors who are very good at teaching.

On the way, I met my fellow schoolmate and my brother's batch mate, Bernadine. She is my brother's 'crush' and if he finds out that i told her his secret, he would definitely kill me.

"Hey George! Where's John?" She smiled as she asked me.

"He's with his car. I am walking alone right now." I answered.

"Why would he do that to you?"

"I am alone because he didn't let me ride his car. He said that he won't let me ride his car if I don't pay him five bucks!" I pretendedly said.

"Aw, he's a very mean brother to you!" She said.

As we talked about my awful brother at the front of her house, a familiar car stopped in front of us.

"Hi, Bernadine! Wanna hitch a ride?"

Shoot, it was my brother! If he knew that I was telling Bernadine about him, I would be in trouble! I hid in the bushes like a boss and I wasn't seen by my brother.

"Uhh.. Hi, John. I am sorry but I'd rather walk on myself." She apologized to him.

"Why?"

"I need to talk to the school principal in front of the school." She faked.

"Then please get in my car so you cannot be late. It's a shame if you will be late when meeting the principal."

"Please, John. I know that you want to pay me back from what happened last year, but It is okay. I can manage on my own." She sadly said.

"Okay, I am sorry." Then he drove away, looking upset.

As he drove away to school, Bernadine told me, "Psst, he's gone now, he can get out now!"

Phew! That was close!

After a minute of cleaning myself from the bushes, we were finally ready to go to school. She smiled at me.

"Wait, what happened last year?" I asked.

"That? Haha, you got away from my acting? It's just nothing, I just made it up."

"Whoa, you have good acting skills! You blew me away!" I said, clapping.

"Goodbye, George! I need to go to school early because I need to meet the new school principal."

I waved her goodbye and she waved back. What a cool girl, I told myself.

After two seconds... "Oh, I almost forgot! I will be also late for school!" I nearly remembered being late for school.

Well, after running seven blocks to my school, I have finally reached the University. The worst University in the State.

As I entered the school grounds, I have met some familiar faces from some of my batch mates. First was Daniel, who was the most intelligent in our class, which is also my friend because you know.... Anyway, I also met Beth, the goth girl who likes to imagine herself as a vampire.

As I walked to the corridor to our classroom...

"Hey George! Having a nice day?"

CHAPTER THREE

Peter was the class bully. Everyday, he is late and has a record of forty five late sessions in two months. He always force intelligent students, like Daniel to let him copy his notes, or else... He will pull your pants down and lock you in a locker.
