The Beach ; GBD

It was a hot summers day, and you and your two best friends Ethan and Grayson Dolan decided to go to the beach to cool down a little. You've always been a fan of the beach and swimming, but never been a very good swimmer. Not saying that you can't swim, it's just when you get in to deep, you tend to freak out a little. Although you and the boys have been going to the beach quite often now, and you were getting use to it.

On the car journey there, you called shotgun which got Ethan shoved in the backseat. Grayson was driving, and had all the windows down to keep the cool air inside the car. Your hair was blowing everywhere, and you probably looked like a lion.

After around nearly twenty minutes of driving, you arrived at the beach, it wasn't as packed as you thought it was going to be, but it was still quite busy.

Grayson pulls the car into a park before all three of you pile out the car gathering all your stuff. You grab your white and red striped towel and follow the boys to a clear spot on the beach. It was away from the crowds of people, and have you three more privacy.

"Y/n, you coming?" Ethan asks already making his way to the fresh water. You look out at the cool water. It was a little rough, with small waves that crashed onto big rocks along the sides of the beach.

"Uhh, yeah in a second.." You mutter putting your sunglasses on your towel.

"Your not scared are you?" Ethan asks with an eyebrow raised. You shake your head.

"No." You say a little unsure if you were lying or not.

"C'mon your so slowwww!" Grayson teases standing beside you with his hands on his hips.

"Hold up! Don't rush me-" You start, but then you got interrupted by Grayson wrapping his arms around your waist, lifting you up and running to the ocean with you tightly in his grip.

"Gray!" You squeal with laughter as he drops you into the water. You feel the refreshing cold water cover you from your feet to your shoulders.

"I hate you." You grumble standing up. The twins laugh and splash the salty water at you.

It had been an hour of water fights, swimming, and relaxing on the beach until the boys decided to hop out of the water to dry off before they got back in the car. You on the other hand stayed in a little longer.

Looking up, you saw that the waves from before had died down a whole lot. You smiled and took this opportunity to go explore a little deeper into the water.

As you swam out more, you felt Grayson's eyes being glued in your direction. He had always been really protective over you, and never wanted to see you get hurt.

You kept swimming until the sea floor was very far under you. The water got a lot colder now, and you started to shiver. Maybe it was time to head back to shore...

You kick your legs to push you back to the twins, but the waves from before had now decided to come back. You kept kicking your legs as hard and fast as you could, but it was only making you more and more exhausted. Suddenly a whole pile of salty water crashes over your head, restricting your breathing for a few seconds. You try to kick your way out of this situation, but only seam to make it worse.

"G-G-Grayson!" You manage to just yell before another wave smashes over you, pushing your head under water. As soon as your head went under water, the sound of the waves started to echo and grow louder. It sounded like an earthquake. But your head then pops out of the water before being shoved back under a few seconds later.

You were finding it extremely hard to breathe, and hoped that Grayson had heard your call for help.

Suddenly you feel something grab you and hoist you back out of the water. You coughed a few times to get out all the salty water you had just inhaled. Once you were able to breathe, you opened your eyes and stared at your best friend Grayson. His eyes were filled with worry and concern.

"Y/n! Oh my gosh are you okay!?" He asks holding you tight. You nod, to tired to speak. "C'mon, let's get you back to shore." He says.
