Walking into the beige colored office at headquarters I can see my boss' facial expression, he did not look amused one bit.
"Chris, I know you are here for your case but let me tell you this one is going to take awhile."
"What do you mean, do we have an exceptionally goody to shoes today," I ask.
"Precisely, now after I read you her file you can decide whether or not you want to take this on."
"Really, that's great I mean, I never get to choose whether or not I get a case, thankyo..."
"Oh you thought I was serious, no you have to take it either way." He chuckles to himself
Wow fuck you too, John.
"Ok here's her file", he says nudging it towards me.
Taking the file I can already see this is going to be a challenge. She has not done anything really horrible in her life, never witnessed death, sorrow or sadness, and never once has a depressing thought laced this girls mind. This is going to be a long case. I better get started, for I do enjoy a challenge.
~2 Hours Later~
Going up to Earth, haven't done this in awhile.
You see going up to Earth is actually pretty boring, in my opinion at least. I mean it's an elevator, just a basic elevator. They could have given us an escalator at least, I mean at least that would give me something to look forward to in this afterlife.
I bet angels have escalators, privileged angelic beings of power. To that I spit in their general direction.
Aside from my rant I step into the elevator. The music in here, my god it sounds like we're in a funeral hom..... wait I guess this is fitting music I rest my case.
-------------------------------------------------------
A flash of light and I have arrived, man it feels good to be back. The fresh air, the trees, the feeling. Just kidding I can't feel anything literally and physically. Stupid nature.
Earth is so bright compared to Hell I mean up here they have the giant, hot thing in the sky called the sun all we have in the underworld is a big douche bag named Satan, or Hades if you want to be Greek with it.
Well time to find my case, the elevator I took popped me up relatively closely to her place of residence anyway.
Brundelle, the street I'm looking for, sounds like the last name of a teacher rather than a street but who am I to judge the humans life choices. Even though the street's sign is covered with snow I can still make out the wording enough to know I am in the right place. I walk and walk, and I'll admit walking down the street I got lost, every thing looks the same covered in snow okay don't judge me.
Took me awhile to find Cassie but when I did I was astonished. She was so pure I could feel the light radiating off this girl, not to mention she was an angelic type of pretty. Can't wait to darken her purity, light radiation can be annoying.
Time for the worst part of the job stalking her for a few days to find out her schedule and deciding when to possess her. Sounds fun on paper I know but in reality it is so boring.
