Prepare to cringe...

Today iz da 2nde day of high skool. I walks up to ma boifrand Stylez and kizz him iin front of da biatxh lydiaz. She rans of cryan. I laugj and kiZ Scoott again. Highh skool is greate.
I'm sorry, I'm cringing too. But I have to admit, cringey writing is really fun to write. Now back to the actual help and editing:
Things wrong with the paragraph:
1) Spelling and Grammar errors. There are several times when I actually have to autocorrect the whole paragraph while reading. Having two hundred spelling errors in a 400 word chapter is going to drive readers away and make them less likely to read your book. Having one or two spelling or grammar mistakes is fine, but having more than ten per chapter is annoying to readers. Try your best to correct your spelling or grammar mistakes, or if you really doubt yourself try asking around Wattpad for an editor. There are surely people who would like to help out.2) Progression of plotline. No one likes to read a book that gives away the whole plot line within the first three chapters. Most readers are attracted to books who are more mysterious and lures the readers in with a steadily increasing plot line. Giving away too much turns readers off and will end with less reads than you wanted.
3) Learning the right spelling. I cannot tell you how many times I've read a fanfiction where someone spells the main characters of Teen Wolf incorrectly. It kinda ticks me off, a perfectionist habit. If you are incorporating the original Teen Wolf characters then it's best to learn to correct spelling. [ check my Teen Wolf Characters page for the correct spelling ]
4) Cliché Plot Lines. I know that when you get an idea for a fanfiction that it might seem like an awesome plot and you want to write it in your own special way. But sometimes using the same plot over and over is really irritating and starts to bore readers. I know that you might be putting in your special little twist, but so are several other writers. Try avoiding some common clichés and thinking of new ways for your character to have a connection with the original characters. [ check my Clichés page to learn how to avoid them]
That's all I have for you guys. Stay tuned for more updates. Since I have the weirdest updating schedule, I'm going to settle on updating each and every of my books on SATURDAYS.
