The sound of laughter came from down the streets. The innocent laughter of children, and, rounding the corner of the street, you could see children playing, having a snow fight. Everyone was bundled up for the weather, except the one strange boy, conjuring up snow from seemingly no where. He was wearing a blue hoodie and some pants, with no shoes. You were wearing snow boots and a thick winter jacket, and still you felt cold. How does he survive in the coldness?

Of course, you know he's Jack Frost, you've been watching him ever since he was in town, whipping up fun everywhere, learning to make snow. You finally learnt to make snowflakes, but you can't seem to make more than a snowflake at a time.

Oh, you're a Jack. No, not a Jack Frost. You're pretty sure there's only one of those. You are a Jack of all trades, someone who could learn magic from others. Of course, you could spend 10 years learning a certain magic, yet will never progress or become as good as those people who were born with the power. But that is the woe of a Jack. You can live with it.

Wait. Jack is no longer with the children. Where did he go?

You turned around, to come face to face with Jack. With a startled scream, you fell back into the snow, your hoodie falling from the impact. You stared at Jack for a few awkward moments. "Um, hi?" Jack stared at you in surprise. You did sorta look and dress like a human girl in winter, and you did look about Jack's age, and people around that age has would have mostly stopped believing in him. So he was confused, you saw him?

You got up from the snow and dusted yourself off. Since you have met Jack formally, you may as well introduce yourself. Maybe you can get him to teach you how to fly? "Hi Jack, I'm y/n." You offered a smile at the boy who finally recovered from shock. "You can see me?" He finally asked. You just nodded. And, being the blunt person you are, with a motto of "Yolo" , you blurted out a "Can you teach me how to fly?" Earning an apologetic look from Jack. "I don't think you can fly, its sort of something I have naturally." You sighed. "Then do you think you can help me make this snow bigger scaled?" You asked instead, conjuring a snowflake, much to the surprised of the white haired boy present. The other children just stared in confused silence at what Jack was staring at. "You can conjure snow! Are you like me?" You shook your head. "I'm a Jack. No! Not a Jack Frost!" You said quickly upon seeing his eyes widen. "I can learn to do things. I learnt how to make a snowflake." You motioned to the snowflake in your hand which was melting from the heat of your hand.

"I NEED TO TAKE YOU TO COUNCIL OF GUARDIANS!" He shouted in excitement, pulling your arm as he flew away. "Bye guys! I'll see you later! Enjoy the snow!" He waved his hand holding his staff at the children, before excitedly dragging you off. A point in the flight, you narrowed your eyes at the boy. "Can't you just try to teach me how to fly?" "Oh. Right, um... Try thinking light thoughts? Keep a light heart, I guess, that's what I did..." You nodded, wrestled your arm out of his grip, and just hoped for the best.

Have I mentioned that you make really stupid choices sometimes?
You frightened the heck out of Jack Frost.
WHO WRESTLES THEMSELVES OUT OF HIS HANDS MID FLIGHT?! WHAT IN THE NAME OF MIM WERE YOU THINKING?!

You were SUPER LUCKY he caught you JUST before you hit the ground. Needless to say, you didn't fly. But after a good chiding from the rather nervous Jack, (he was nervous that you might try that again) you decided to just enjoy this flight. You can learn to fly later. Golly, his hands were cold...

A little memory surface from deep in your mind. A song, to be exact. "Nightlight, bright light, sweet dreams I bestow. Sleep tight, all night, forever I will glow." Not really realizing you were saying it out loud. Muttering under your breath mostly, quiet enough Jack didn't hear the lyrics, but heard the tune. Didn't this boy look a lot like the one in your dreams?
