Thea's P.O.V

"Thea!" My boss Karen yells out to me. Oh no, she probably took another baby.

She always call me when there's a adorable baby. You see she loves kids and she's also prego so that's double trouble. Think about it.

I work at a baby store with my best friend of a couple of years and I love it. Oh that's Karen by the way. And I love her to bits, she's family. She's all I have.

"Coming Karen..." I say under my breath knowing she won't hear me. I don't like yelling so I don't do it.

I set the hangers aside and take some baby clothes off my shoulder and set them beside the hangers. I walk through the racks of baby clothes and what not, until Karen comes into view. She's holding a baby and crying. How cute..wait, whose baby is that?

Oh no, not again. Usually the parent is around. This is another story. Oh no! I'm panicking! We're gonna big to go to jail !

I speed walk towards her and she's still snuggling with the baby and crying.

I slowly approach her and place my hand on her shoulder and she turns to me and she stops crying. Then the baby sees me he starts giggling and throwing his hands up.

She starts crying again.

"What's wrong Karen?" I ask looking at her in concern. While trying to seem composed but in the inside I'm freaking out.

Usually when she's holding a baby she's beaming. The sun would be on the run for it's money because her smile is always bright when she see a child. But I've never seen her crying while holding a baby boy with chubby cheeks. Just adorable.

"I saw this little guy crawling around and...I-it made me sad that his parents don't care about his safety." She says through sobs. She's in no condition to hold this baby.

I grab the baby and cradle him and look around. In the corner of my eye I see a middle aged woman, with tanned skin looking around frantically and tears streaming down her face. I think I found this baby mother or grandmother.

I turn back around to face Karen who is trying to calm herself down while rubbing her round belly. She's going to be a great mom. Crazy, But a great one.

"Karen, I think I found this little guy's mother. I'm going to go see, ok?" I ask her while I look down at the adorable baby boy in my arms whose playing with my necklace.

"Please find them." She tells me with watery eyes. I nod my head and usher her to the back room to get herself together.

With the baby over my shoulder whose speaking gibberish. I walk over to the lady that's shedding tears.

I slowly approach and look around to check one more time for other women looking for a child or crying.

"Excuse Miss, but I think this is your son." I said timidly as I lightly tap the lady shoulder and she quickly turn around looking at me with red teary eyes. Then her eyes zero in on the child on my shoulder.

"Oh my gosh! That's my grandson! Thank you so much miss." She says happily, then the baby raise his head from my shoulder and turn his head to the women and jumps for her.

She catches him before he does. That baby could give anyone a heart attack.

She cradled the baby boy to her chest while she strokes his hair. She then look at me, whose backing away slowly.

"Wait, I want to thank you again for bringing him back to me! I was about to catch a panic attack!" She says through a light laugh.

I look down and I can feel my cheeks heat up for the praise she gave me. Not used to it.
