It was two weeks before the dream of every girl - prom. Just take a look around the school and you can see girls asking their BFFs what to wear or guys rehearsing to one another on how to ask their dream girl to be their date. Jamie, Jaecy and Amber were of course, of no exception. They were really thrilled for prom to arrive and it was their wish to be asked on a date by their dream guys - Titus, Sebastian and Sean respectively.
"Can you believe it? It's just another two weeks! I cant wait! I heard from Melanie that Sebastian have not asked any girls to be his date yet! You still stand a chance!" Jamie exclaimed, grinning widely.
"Yeah right. From what i have observed, Titus and Sean have not asked any girl to the dance too!" Jaecy replied, fidgeting with her moustache ring on her index finger.
"I wont stand a chance! That dumb Sean wont even bother to ask me because we dont talk!" Amber sighed.
"Dont worry. If he doesn't ask you to be his date, I will persuade Harry to go with you! " Jamie giggled uncontrollably. Harry was the nerd in their class and was always seen with an encyclopedia in his hands, his face buried in it. As the three friends were strolling down the hall, they saw a group of guys with different height approaching them.
"It's theeemmm..! " Jamie stammered, pulling the end of her skirt. She always does that when she is feeling nervous.
"Are they going to ask us to be their dates?" Jaecy squeaked while putting on her best smile to attract the guys attention.
"Hello ladies! It's refreshing to see babes early in the morning! " Aaron, Titus's best buddy smiled handsomely.
"It's a pleasure to meet you guys here too!" Amber murmured, looking down trying her best to stop her face from blushing.
"So..any dates for prom...." Sebastian asked casually.
" No! " Jaecy shouted, cutting off Sebastian's sentence.
" That's impossible. You're not bad looking dear. There's only...two weeks left. Why not? " he asked, concern evident in his voice.
"That is because she is waiting for..." before Jamie could even complete her sentence, Jaecy pulled her by the sleeves and glared at her.
"Because she's waiting for her...friends, Amber and I to find ours!" Jamie completde her sentence to sound as natural as possible.
"Jamie is always so weird. Ignore her! " Jaecy dragged Jamie away, preventing her from blurting out things that she should not have said. Amber took her last glimpse at Sean who had his usual expressionless face on, before running to catch up with Jamie and Jaecy.
