I was trying to think, but it was so hard, I knew I was high, really high because everything I was seeing was like a blur. I was at the bar, asking for more drinks trying to figure out what was happening in my life.
What I did wrong? It's been three weeks since she left. In the first week I just got depressed, the second week I started to get angry, and now I'm just confused, and that's why I'm in this party drinking so much because there are so many feelings inside of me that I need to let it out.
She was the first girl that I was in love with, and I could feel that she felt the same. Then... why she's gone? She should be my happy ending, and I was trying hard to be the Prince Charming of her stories and now... and now what?
I took another sip of my drink.
"Hey, I was there trying to get your attention, but I think you are too busy daydreaming." Some random girl said with a big smile on her face.
The girl was gorgeous, she had colorful hair, but I could see that she was a brunette, blue eyes but in some angles, it was like purple, but the most beautiful thing on her was her smile.
But I didn't say anything to her, she was flirting, and I was not in the mood. My old self would probably smirk and flirt back but now, with my broken heart, I just couldn't.
Her smile never faded, she cleaned her through "I'm Cordelia, Cordelia Dane."
"I'm Kyle Schneider." I said, and she sat next to me.
"What is making you so sad? Can I help you to cheer you up?"
I looked at her. Am I looking that terrible? Am I that easy to read? Since when did this happen?
"I'm fine." I answered.
"Doesn't seem like" Cordelia said and then she looked at the barman "Ten shots please, this is going to be a long night." And then she smiled at me "You can tell me what is bothering you."
With that, I couldn't stop talking, and I don't remember what I told her, I just knew that she was cool and we were both drunk. How do I know? I was crying because of the story that I told her and she was crying because of it. Besides if I weren't drunk I wouldn't share so much of my life mostly with a stranger. I couldn't be more pathetic.
"Oh! I love this song! Let's dance!" Cordelia grabbed me excited after cleaning her face.
She was so happy, and her moves were so funny that I couldn't stop laughing.
"Why are you laughing about? My moves are pretty great" she snapped me like she was reading my mind and then she started to laugh too. She was so beautiful.
"You should smile more often." Cordelia said.
"Yeah? Why?"
"It suits you. You look more handsome and hotter."
I smirked. Pushing her against the wall, she looked at me with that damn smile.
We kissed.
And for one night I was able to forget the girl who once left me.
