Prologue
It's 2224 and the world has changed. When the sun showed signs of instability everyone was evacuated to Alion - a hospitable planet much like our own. Not a second too soon as, only days after the last of the evacuees left, the sun imploded. Earth and all those who refused to leave were destroyed. Incinerated. I still can't believe it. Beautiful, bountiful Earth gone. Forever.
