"Mr. Malfoy please, I only need an extra day in order to get my paycheck, I will owl it to you the second it comes through! I swea-"

"I don't need your empty promises!" I heard my father scream to a client. Normally, father allows them an extra day, if they were a pureblood, this man belonged to a family of muggles and even married a muggle. Father wasn't planning on giving him the time of day. I walked past his office, remembering the scene from when I was 10 years old. My father is now in his study, looking over old files and categorizing them for my handling. He expects me to take over the business of Whiltshire's Magical Apothetary. For centuries my family has had the main supplies and creations of the strongest potions. From hangover potions to regrowth potions for missing limbs we have it all, and we've grown the main things, however there is one other competitor for supplies, The Greengrass Family.

The Greengrass' have had the most natural and healthy hurbs that witch or wizard could buy, and they have never received a complaint for over 2 centuries. My family is still doing better, we've lowered our prices slightly -something that took years for me to convince my father to do- and the Greengrass family lost thousands of buyers. The only worry is that they may come up with their own apothertary and we may be in serious trouble.

I personally had no intention of continuing the family business, I wanted to go into healing and actually using the potions instead of just creating them.

I walked into my bedroom, and began to take off my healer's robes.

"How was work?" I heard a sweet voice say behind me as Astoria nee Greengrass leaned against the door frame. I have been working late hours at St. Mungo's for the past year in order to get a paid 6 months off of work.

"The usual, nothing terribly boring nor terribly exciting. And you? How are you feeling? Are you sure you don't want to sit down?" I asked as I walked up to her and put a hand at her back and on her protruding belly, trying to guide her onto the bed.

"Draco please, I am only 6 months along, I am fine," she said softly looking at me and kissing me sweetly, "And so is he." I got her to sit on the bed and lay down, she was already in her nighty, so I helped her with the sheets.

"I will be back," I kissed her forehead and went to the bathroom to take a shower. Two years ago, my father had said it was time I got a women and had an heir to the family name. I was 20, and my mother had set me up on various 'blind dates' to choose and appropriate wife. Personally I didn't want any of them, so my parents came up with an idea. Since the Greengrass family was fond of us, and by fond of us I mean that they have been trying to get me to marry Daphne since I was 5. my parents decided that I was going to marry her and combine to two family companies so that we no longer had competition. I was horrified by the idea but my parents weighed my family's money over my head and therefore I agreed. I was a child and I already knew I wasn't being offered just a handful of galleons. However, I am still not sure was frightens me further, the idea of being broke, or the idea of marrying Daphne which would eventually lead me to being broke. Daphne was the definition of a gold-digger, one I was not looking forward to.

I went to the Greengrass Manor that night for dinner in order for our families to discuss company merging and wedding plans. I felt sick to my stomach at the ideas but held my ground at the table because I wasn't listening to a single word they were saying. Instead I was having a rather nice conversation with Miss Greengrass herself, no not the mother, nor Daphne, but little Astoria. She was 17 at the time and freshly out of Hogwarts. We were talking about different things and needless to say she was very interesting. When I mentioned the company, she went off about different ideas she had for it. I was shocked to say the least. NO normal pureblood woman would dare say a word about their family's or husband's companies. She even talked about the merge and I was flabbergasted.
