I laid in the grass watching the clouds slowly drift by as I wait for Phil to show up. When I hear footsteps I smile seeing his black hair before the rest of him.

"Hi Philly."

"Hello Danny sorry it took me a bit longer to get here mum needed me to take the trash out."

"That's alright have a seat."

I smile patting the grass next to me he sits down laying next to me and I roll on my side watching him.

"Honestly I have no idea how to tell you this I don't want to scare you off or ruin our friendship."

"Just tell me it can't be that bad and if it is just give me a little time."

"Dan I like you meaning more then just as a friend over these past few weeks I've started developing feelings for you. I was afraid at first because I didn't know how you felt then you were honest enough to tell me who you really are as a person. I couldn't help myself from falling more. I didn't want to keep it from you as you were so up front with me I don't want this to ruin anything between us. So if it's awkward please just tell me and I'll work on ignoring them I don't want to lose your friendship."

Smiling I take his hand waiting for him to look at me.

"That doesn't make me feel awkward I've always liked you I've always thought the things you do are adorable. I was really interested to get to know you when you first came to the school your hair is what really captured my attention. I've never seen hair as black as yours before I do like you Phil the feelings are definitely returned in full. I don't see how they couldn't be I want to do cute stuff together no matter how cheesy it sounds but I still want us to be friends as well. One day I hope we can be boyfriends and go on dates."
