(One week after)
"So you are really moving"? Ella asked him." Ya, we are moving next week" Alex told him." So what happened to the speech thing"? Alex asked." Joshua represented our school and he is moving to the nationals" Ella told Alex." What's nationals"? Alex asked." Its where the whole of North America will compete in one but it gets harder each time, for example; they will give you a topic and you have to think of a speech in the spot or you might have to write one in 5 minutes but there is a time limit you cannot past" Ella said." Wow, good thing I'm not representing that school. That's when Alex's phone rang. His mom texted that she is going to pick him up." Well Ella, it's time for me to go now. My mom is waiting for me outside" Alex told Ella. Ella started to tear up. They both gave each other a really big and long hug." Enjoy your new house and remember, you will always be my best friend" Ella told Alex while she was wiping her tears." You too" Alex replied. His mom honked the car horn to tell Alex that she is here. Alex put his shoes on and said one last goodbye to Ella and her family." Stay safe" his mom said. When Alex got in the car, his mom drove away." I don't really know why we have to move" Alex told his mom." Don't worry, you will have lots of fun at our new house in California" his mom replied to him.

"Alex, it's time for us to go. We don't want to miss the flight" his dad said." In a minute" Alex replied. Alex took one last look at his favourite room and went downstairs. Alex got in the car and waved goodbye to his favourite house as his mom drive away.
(At the airport)
While Alex was waiting to board his flight, Alex just sat down to look at the outside the window." Oh, didn't expect to see you here" a guy said. Alex looked and he didn't believe his eyes.
