What if..?

Proprosal.

Mitch nervously paced back and forth, Alex would be home at four thirty and it was four twenty.. he had something extremely special planned for him, he had the ring in a box in the back pocket of his jeans, he had planned an entire evening of basically taking him on this scavenger hunt, with Alex trying to find Mitch. He set the first note out, clearly where Alex could see it and Mitch headed out the back door quietly, sneaking across the backyard, out of the fence and across the street towards the building with the highest view in the small town. It was such a beautiful place, and he knew it would be perfect for the occasion. Alex came home, and headed in the door, expecting to see his boyfriend. "Mitch, I'm home!" He called out, going to the dining room table like usual and setting his bag, keys, and paperwork down. He looked around a bit confused, "baby?" He called out softly, worry creasing his features. He walked into the main hall, and almost stepped on the first note. He narrowed his eyes really confused and picked it up slowly, he turned it over and it read; You must've just gotten home and are probably wondering where I'm at. Since it's Valentine's Day, let's play a little game. ;) go to the place where we had our very first date at. -Mitch. He read it over and over and stuffed the note into his pocket, "First date.. first date.." he mumbled twice, smiling at the thought. He took off towards the backyard, and climbed into the tree house thingy that they had from previous owners of the house. He sat on the ledge and looked around for another card, he spotted it almost instantly and took it and read; You've found the second hint, head towards the place we always go late at night.. -Mitch he bit his lip, in concentration and stuffed yet another note into his pocket. He turned around and headed back upstairs to the balcony directly off of their bedroom, he opened the door and stepped outside, stuck to a Rose was another note. this rose signifies the next place you'll find me. He narrowed his eyes at the note, and quickly thought.. flower... flower shop? Garden... he was at a lost for thought when he suddenly remembered the greenery across the road. He laughed out loud in victory and fist pumped the air. Taking both the Rose and the note. He then walked out the front door, down the porch steps and across the street to the building, he found a note on the bush. Here you are, one step closer to finding me.. ;) take a few more steps.. he groaned out loud a little, this building had over 150 stairs. He stuffed the note in his pocket and started his long travel up the many, many stairs. He finally made it to the top of the building and saw a note taped to the door before he could exit to the rooftop. He read; almost there baby.. now go to our favorite spot up here.. his note read and his eyes lit up, with happiness as he opened the door and went outside heading directly to their favorite spot. He looked around confused, literally looking all around for Mitch, when he heard a clearing of someone's throat. He turned around, a bit shocked and his brown eyes widened at the sight of Mitch down on one knee... "m-Mitch.." his voice quivered slightly, his cheeks turning red. "You found me.." Mitch grins goofily, and slowly reached into his back pocket pulling out the box, and opening it to reveal a gorgeous wedding band, it was gold with silver lining. "Marry me?" Mitch's voice quivered and shook as tears filled his icy blue eyes, he was getting all emotional because of the moment. Alex took less than a second to respond, a squeak escaping his lips, "Yes!" He practically gasped, tears filling his own eyes at the thought of spending the rest of forever with the man he loved oh so dearly. Mitch smiled brightly and slowly stood sliding the ring onto Alex's left ring finger.. perfect fit! He grinned and slowly leaned down as Alex smiled brightly and stood up on his tiptoes their lips pressing against eachothers in a fiery passion. It was pure bliss! Their bodies molding together in close proximity, as their kiss deepens. "I love you." Alex whisperer pulling back slowly, and Mitch grinned before winking. "And I love you." He mumbled softly, yet again finding their lips together in complete harmony. 💕
