Ugh. Valentine's day! Also known as hell for all single girls in our world. A sea of kisses and red roses, a living, breathing nightmare. Especially because this year I will have to put up with watching Nicole and Jay playing lovebirds whilst no doubt Cole will pull some kind of prank on me to add insult to injury!

Groaning, I leave my bed to pull on an outfit for school; something sweet - but it can't look like I am a poor loner on Valentine's day, because I AM NOT! Okay, so maybe I am a little bit... Finally I find the most perfect sweet little outfit, a T-shirt with a purple tartan skirt with attached braces and small thick heeled ankle boots!

Once I am at school I cautiously head to my locker to avoid Nicole and her short-skirted cronies. Luckily, they were nowhere to be seen so I was safe to access my KitKat hoard in my locker saved for tragedies like today. Upon finding that there are no boobie traps in my locker, my hand delves in and tightens around... A rose?

Cole:

Well, today's the day I've been waiting for, Valentines Day. Butterflies emerge in my stomach as I envision everything that could go on before rapidly shaking these thoughts away like cobwebs. If I'm going to do this, then I need to be confident. My hand grasps the rose like a safety blanket as I walk towards Tessa, swatting away a group of giggling girls like flies! She's by her locker, facing inside it when I start to really feel sick with nerves. Christ, Cole Stone, be a MAN! I take a deep breath in before beginning to approach her from behind but instead of tapping her back as she turns to face the opposite way to me, my nerves take the better of me as I swiftly place the rose in her locker and run to take shelter behind the water fountain as she turns back to her locker. Wow, Cole, smooth. Very smooth. Better luck next year.
