Acacia's P.O.V

I paced back and forth in the grass in front of the hideout, trying to process all of the things running through my mind all at one time. My long red hair blew in the wind as I sat down and stared into the blue sky.

"You know your eyes mimic the color of the sky like moms did." my younger sister smiled coming to sit by me.

"Zaria....my eyes aren't even that pretty." I giggled, tossing some loose grass at her.

"Yea well...I have purple eyes, so fight me..I wish I had blue."

"Oh shut up!" I rolled my eyes at her before standing up.

I looked down towards the city and saw a figure of what looked to be a girl walking this way, she had dark hair and looked to be around 18 years old. My sister noticed her to and decied to run inside and get the others to make sure the girl was ok. Nightwing was the first one out followed by his partner in crime Wally.

"Casey, go inside with my sister and her two friends to ensure they are still running."

I nodded and walked back inside towards the training room where Aria, Mackenzie, and Makayla were supposed to running, but instead were laying on the ground.

"He THOUGHT I was going to keep runnin..." Kenzie panted.

"Aria...Your brother needs start running he's the one looking pudgy." Kayla yawned, drinking some water.

I coughed to alert the three that I was in the room.

"Oh....Hey Acacia." Aria stammered, struggling to get up.

"You guys don't have to keep running, we have a newbie coming in supposedly. Go check it out." I managed to get out before running to bathroom to throw up.

After I washed my mouth out and splashed water on my face, I looked at my reflection in the mirror. All I could think about was the same nightmares that flushed my brain just a hour ago, my eyes began to go white but quickly went back to ice blue when a knock hit the door.

"Acacia, come meet Deanne!" Tim called through the door.

I glanced once more at my reflection and sighed.

"Be out in a sec...."

I ran a hand through my hair once more before opening the door and walking out to meet up with the others. The new girl was shockingly not as nervous as I thought she would be and kept starting at Dick. With everything that I knew, I decided not to drag my boyfriend through anything. He deserved to be happy. I took one last glance at everyone around the room, and without a word to anyone I left the hideout.
